Beck- Sea Change
pretty fantastic |
so when i listen to music, i get really into groups of 3 or 4 people and listen to them repeatedly until something new comes along and the original artist fades into some giant computer-like music library, where it takes up space that would normally be used by important information! not that that was necessary to tell you, but anyway, lately, i've been all about:
John Frusciante (for like the past 2 years) Olivia Tremor Control Athlete Thom Yorke so yeah, there you have it! |
athlete kind of stinks
|
Athletes usually stink.
Brian Eno- Another Green World |
Alright...
Couple musicians I've been listening to...
First, the already famous: Blue October Breaking Benjamin Foo Fighters Hinder Linkin Park Jimmy Eat World Barenaked Ladies To name a few...lol. Next, the not so well known: Lili Roquelin (Trip-hop/Alt) KHZ (Metal/Experimental) Hydrovibe (Rock) Nephilym (...well, doesn't matter now...) And that's a few of them. The first three of the not so well known group are pretty damn good! You can listen to Lili, whose voice will soothe ya and make you forget about a bad day. KHZ will amp you up and make you want to punch something or someone. And Hydrovibe will get you up and rocking out. So, yeah, give them a listen if you'd like. =) |
oh my
|
I've been spinning a bunch of Menomena. I really dig them.
Also been trying to get into the new Gang Gang Dance, but like most dance-y records I sorta feel odd listening to it sitting at my computer. I definitely wanna see them when they perform near me though. |
I'm expecting them to be good live.

|
The Unseen doesn't have Doom though.
|
i dunno doom's usually pretty bad but he's passable on madvillainy, or at least he doesn't ruin the record
both are good though |
i dunno doom's usually pretty bad but he's passable on madvillainy, or at least he doesn't ruin the record

I think the beats are better on The Unseen. Madvillainy is cool but Doom is best over his own beats.
anyway, been digging Pharoahe Monch's Internal Affairs lately. I like it more than Desire. |
no, doom is pretty wack
