Haha i know, Metallica is about not trying to look anything 'the anti motly crue'. Even James said Rob 'looks cooler' than any of them, and he really does look awsome:thumb: . Master of puppets is my favourite album while we're on the subject...

Yes MoP kicks some serious ***. IMO everything from KEA to the Black album is gold. They were amazing during that era. Load and Reload were kinda lame with the watered down sound then SKoM and St. Anger just blow.
And their bassist is fine. Not as good as the first one. Damn forgot his name... Cliff Burton right??

Well Metallica isn't the best band in the world, in fact they are way too overrated, but that doesn't make them suck.

I didn't say the fact they are overrated at all, did I? I just said they are terrible. I also didn't say I wanted to see him get raped, more I wanted him to get raped. Difference.

And about the "don't listen to them" point, I hear them everywhere. People are allways playing them at my school (yes outloud), as well as they are all over the radio, which I avoid listening to, but still seems unavoidable.

Well that's a better response, i recommend you to read the rules, flamming is a great banning excuse, if you got something bad too say about a band, just back it up with a smart comment or don't say it at all.

The only thing you could do when you don't like a band is not listen them, mindless bashing and flamming is stupid for many reasons.

It is beyond, yes beyond, pathetic to come into band's official thread, just to say you think they suck and their drummer should get raped. Your opinion will pretty much be taken as a joke if you really don't provide any reasons for that statement.

Wish my local rock radio station played more metallica once in a while. They just play nu metal and alternative rock. Maybe some pop punk here and there too. :upset: Although I have their CD in my car, so who really cares right? lol

Because if you don't like a band you shouldn't even talk about them. It'll just piss off people who do like them and not make any contribution to MX. Disputes over bands are idiotic.
