http://www.badjon.com

That site has TONS of awesome live hardcore/metalcore/grind videos. Cheers to Tom for showing it to me.
Tom sent me a video of a DEP show off this site. It was pretty crazy.

Tjebby 08-13-2005 11:19 PM

Champion is good too. Well the three songs I have heard.

Mute Print 08-13-2005 11:22 PM

Woah. I was just watching a video of Evergreen Terrace, and it was awesome. Now I really can't wait to see them on Monday. It's gonna be such a good show.

Gnarmageddon 08-13-2005 11:25 PM

I'm listening to Planet Mental right now, and I like it a lot.

The videos have really crappy sound quality, but they're a lot of fun to watch.

Tjebby 08-13-2005 11:30 PM

You get to see Evergreen Terrace? You lucky bastard.

/envys you.

Sing along for me. Be like I WANT YOU DEAD I WANT YOU DEAD I WANT YOU DEAD WE WANT YOU DEAD WE WANT YOU DEAD WE WANT YOU DEAD

Mute Print 08-13-2005 11:35 PM

Haha, I'll try to sing along as much as I can. I just started getting in to them recently, so I don't know the words to most of their songs, but I'm going to listen to as much of their stuff as I can before Monday so I can try to learn them. I find that shows are more enjoyable when you know the music really well.

Bloodlust 08-13-2005 11:37 PM

my step sister just smeared my dedorent over all over my 20 dollar hat.

Dogfight, New Friend Request and Brave Reality are my favorites of the new album.

I'm just adding the new album to my iPod now. I've listened to it a few times, but not enough to pick favorite songs. I'll have to listen to it again in a few minutes.

chumpradio 08-14-2005 04:28 AM

chumpradio 08-14-2005 04:34 AM

Nothing much. I'm tired and bored, but I'm going out in an hour.
Sup oz?

Oz Rembrandt 08-14-2005 04:36 AM

Im pretty tierd too, but Im having an overnight band practice tonight, so I'll be even more tierd tomorrow. Oh, and Im waiting for a phone call back about a job...

chumpradio 08-14-2005 04:41 AM

Cool. Where are you trying to get a job?
I want a band, but the only person who I would consider having as a bassist or other guitarist is in a band on guitar, so he doesn't want to do that, and he lost his job, so he can't afford to actually get a bass anymore.
And all the drummers I know are either assholes or crap.

Oz Rembrandt 08-14-2005 04:45 AM

Ottakars Bookshop in Northallerton.

Man, finding nice drummers who are good is so hard! Its taken me ages to find Morris, who's both an awesome guy, and can play the entire QOTSA songs for the Deaf, so he's good too.

Untitled 08-14-2005 05:06 AM

My drummer is quite amazing, i think he's only been playign 3years and give him pretty much anything to play, and he can do it. He can be a lazy git though, he's always saying "you 4 learn the songs, then ill listen to it at the pub and play them" i dont doubt for a second that he cant do that, but id prefer to practice as a whole band, which we are on weds.

I need a job, im reapllying at morrisons and filling the form out properly, and some other places, i dunno though.

Oz Rembrandt 08-14-2005 05:08 AM

I need a job, coz I need a new bass. I've narrowed it down to 2 choices...

Untitled 08-14-2005 05:09 AM

I need a new bass too, its crapy playing shows with a squire....

Which choices?

Oz Rembrandt 08-14-2005 05:10 AM

Yamaha RBX374 in Black or Fender Standard Seires Jazz bass in Blue Agave.

Untitled 08-14-2005 05:12 AM

Fenders in blue agave = Secks.

Im gonna almost certianly get a Fender P in blue agave.

OmGz Teh PunX RoX

chumpradio 08-14-2005 05:13 AM

For my next guitar I am probably getting a Schecter Elite 006.
It is one of the sexiest guitars I've seen in my price range.
I'll get a link.

I love playing standup basses.
Our school has one for the string group to play, and sometimes after music they are still there, so I got the guy to let me play a bit on it.
It wasn't as easy to play a fast walking bassline, but it was pretty fun, and doing slides was so sexy.
