They're only chasing safety is ok, their metal albumw as pants. And their middle album wasn't great either.

That would be the Changing Of Times, that's when Octavio, Luke, and Corey left the band, they still had Dallas though, so it had some Death components, but most of them were kinda replaced with emocore when the new bassist and guitarists joined.

The only two songs on that album that really stand out to me are When The Sun Sleeps and A Message For Adrienne, the rest is decent IMO, but the drumming is normally the only good part.

Check out Hatfield, My New Casket, Stick Figure, Stoning Judas. Those are my favorites. I think they are far from generic, even if you dont like them, they arent generic. I cant compare them to any other band.
