Man, do I love that song. My girlfriend's friend has like a million X-Japan songs, but for some reason the CD she burned for me never worked. :upset: I need to bother her about it again.
Is that like a "senior project" Aaron? In Washington, every senior has to do this 2 year long project where you find a mentor in a certain profession you want to pursue, spend an X amont of time getting tought by this person, and at the end of the year, you need to present your findings to a panel of judges. This whole thing is a requirement for graduation.
Wow, two years? That has to suck, in Montana its your senior year which sorta blows because instead of just partying 24/7 or what not you actually have to go to class and work on stuff after school and on the weekends. Unless you do something really fun like recording music or traveling.

Nah. It is the writing that will come up next to my picture in the yearbook. Me and some friends are gonna have a widespread inside joke going on with part of them

It is a great song, I love the piano solo in it. I really need to pick up some of their albums, insteading of downloading just this song.
I celebrated Halloween over at a friends party in a drunken haze on Friday, so no Halloween for me today.

I slept most of the day as it was non-stop raining all day, and then I proceeded to watch some Family Guy dvds. And now I am here, what an interesting day...

Hahaha, sounds like a fun day.

Topped by one hell of a song! :)

At Least I got my Senior Ambition done.

Leper 11-01-2005 12:08 AM

What's your senior ambition?

Bartender 11-01-2005 03:08 AM

I'm really tempted just to put Hallowed Be Thy Name and then four Beatles songs, in the new Definitive Songs thing.

cheers for the Rush and Bad Religion, Greg, I'll listen when i get home from school.
today's a rubbish day, no proper lessons, but i have to come to avoid the school phoning home and annoying my parents.
but, i got my name change :)

dUSK 11-01-2005 04:17 AM

No problem man. I hope you like it.

Those days of school really seem to stretch out. Why didn't you have any proper classes?

Josh 11-01-2005 04:20 AM

just the way my timetable is. its a 2 week one: every tuesday, formtime and nothing else, wednesdays 1 or 2 geography lessons. then 4 lessons every other day  i just wish it was more evenly spaced out. i got all my uni applications done last week though, and in july i'll be finished school forever :)

Axe 11-01-2005 04:25 AM

Ah I used to have that when I was at school. I generally found it awesome though because we'd go to school in the morning, then get a few period or something to do whatever in (a lot of my friends had the same timetable as me, although they did different classes), and then we'd have a lesson in the afternoon. This happened around 3 times a week.

Axe, I'm putting off studying for exams. Yourself?

Riva 11-01-2005 05:06 AM

I had a full 9-3 timetable, 6 subjects per year, for all of my senior years at High School. You guys were lucky to have breaks.

dUSK 11-01-2005 05:09 AM

I don't really consider them breaks, as not everyone got them. It just depended on which classes you took. Flexitime is what they called it, which meant that due to a shortage of teachers some classes would be required to be held outside normal school hours. In year 11 I finished school at 5:00pm two days a week.

Josh 11-01-2005 05:20 AM

i used to stay late to do my Peer Support course, but since i finished that i leave at 3.35, get home at 4.15 or so. normally have to go straight out again though, as i have to look after the family's horses.
i would have less free lessons, but i dropped Maths, as i was finding it way too hard.

Username change?

I hated school, it was 9 til 3:30 five days a week. College wasn't any better for my first year, but my second year was much less packed. Then my 3rd year was pretty empty, so spent most of my time in the Pub drinking fine ales and debating the physisc of pool :p

Now I'm at uni, I have no free time what so ever, I'm running about everywhere and I'm going insane due to lack of sleep :upset:

Riva 11-01-2005 05:49 AM

I just spent 5 minutes showing off my poor German to Jelle, only to find out it was his mother.

Riva 11-01-2005 06:14 AM

Nah, I learnt it ages ago, and my next-door neighbour is teaching me it again, but I speak with an Austrian accent, because that is where she is from.

My grammar is really bad, I think.

I may be wrong, but didn't there used to be a fairly large Doom Metal thread around here? I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know who may have started it?

I'm pretty sure there was. Try the rules sticky, there's a list of officials and big threads with links. otherwise I guess just searching
