I just don't post much anymore in the Death heads thread, and that happened since the Black metal thread became popular. It just ook away the community. :(

I never really liked the deviding of black metal and death metal
the any other death heads thread was the all purpose extreme metal thread.
now it's all scattered, and most people who post in the death heads thread enjoy death metal too, so I never really saw any need for a BM thread

I like it though, cause it took a lot of the elitists out of the Death Heads thread, and then put them in a discussion where their elitism is centered on Black Metal only, which they actually know, making it slightly less retarded.

the black metal thread isn't safe ground for people who don't know much about BM, I don't feel encouraged to post there, cause my knowledge of BM isn't that exstensive.
but most of the blokes in the BM thread are ace guys, but from time to time new users sign up, and start flaming everyone with their elitist attitude.
( I won't name anyone in particular, I think you all know who I'm talking about)

I'm talking about stuff like when Stevie just randomly goes OMG THIS BAND IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN IN FLAMES, EVERYTHING PWNS OPETH, etc. and then other Black Metal regs start flaming the entire Gothenburg sub-genre for not being tr00 enough.

I'm fine with people who know nothing about the genre, i just dislike Nightwish fans who think they are the only PM band in existence (even though they aren't very PM anymore).

Vikingcore : Gothenburg sucks quite abit though, amirite? :lol:
