It's not stealing if it's a damaged box. Once it's "trash", it's public domain.

/smokes 'Ports or Reds. 100's naturally.

I don't like the aftertaste of a Camel.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:34 PM

I liked the menthol shorts because they were so smooth, like, I forgot I was smoking one this one time...

I really should go to bed, since I spent all last night speeding and haven't been to bed in two days.

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:34 PM

I dig menthols... Especially 'Ports. Taste like candy.

So how's life Jody?

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:35 PM

Well, this twelve year old on my bus kissed me and then started trying to give me a handjob, so Im waiting for the cobs so come get me.

But other than that, been working and buying gear, and writing alot of neat music. And yourself?

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:37 PM

Ummm.... wtf? That's.... kinda crazy. 12 year olds should not be doing that to anyone, especially someone that much older than them.

On a similar note, I'm back with the same chick I was with before. It rocks.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:38 PM

She totally came onto me, but all it takes is the "rape" word and Im in trouble, and shes pissed because I didnt kiss her back. I just sat there and when she pulled back I just looked at her with this like "Bitch give me a cigarette" look

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:39 PM

Crazy **** though. I was a good kid when I was 12... Maybe I became a ****up too late.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:40 PM

It was kind of sad, she really likes me but she thinks the only way to get a guy is to be a whore. She kept trying to force my hand between her legs and was constantly trying to get out of her top.

On an effin school bus of all places

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:43 PM

I hate to see **** like that man. But what can you do?

I also need a new mirror. Plastic ones don't hold up too well to razors.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:45 PM

I would always cut my stuff on a shelf from my bookcase.

But now this talk of cocaine has me searching for my Gnarles Barclay album.

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:50 PM

I do it on my speaker cabinet for my stereo that my keyboard is on. I'm using a CD to cut it on today on top of that because my mirror is so ****ty.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:51 PM

Imagine if they let us alone together for two weeks with a bit of money

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:52 PM

Oh god... we'd self destruct.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:55 PM

But, between my ovation and your taylor.

We'd leave behind the most incredible music ever.

PaulSimonon 10-26-2006 11:58 PM

Haha, damn straight.

Playing instruments after doing a line of coke is amazing. I'm such a beast.

Jody LeCompte 10-26-2006 11:59 PM

I like playing stoned so much more. I dont necessarily play better, I just feel alot more loose.

I always record it to see if it's still awesome once I sober up

PaulSimonon 10-27-2006 12:06 AM

I normally don't like playing stoned.

One time I jammed when I was really really ****ed up off of dramamine.... didn't work at all. I kept hearing ****, and my drummer's cymbal turned into a sheet of paper that fell onto the floor.

I was insanely messed up though.

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:09 AM

I don't really do anything but smoke js and joes.

I am getting to be quit a speed freak though.
Ebe: Give me a cort.
I have a better idea.

Take the money you would spend on drugs for the next month and you will have enough to buy one.

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:20 AM

I dont spend any money on drugs...

ebe9 10-27-2006 12:24 AM
I dont spend any money on drugs...
So how exactly do you come by all this contraband?

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:25 AM

Well, firstly, I only smoke once a week...

Secondly, good friends a pusher.

ebe9 10-27-2006 12:30 AM
Well, firstly, I only smoke once a week...

Ahhhhh.

Well, save up and you can buy your own Cort, I have other expenses that need more urgent attention thasn furnishing others with instruments.

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:31 AM

Yeah.

Ive got $400 saved to put an electric guitar on layaway. I dont know what Im going to do with my basses as of now, except that the fretless is staying

Which Cort are you looking at specifically?

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:44 AM

I loved everything about the B4, I loved the curbow best but didnt like the feel of the body.

ebe9 10-27-2006 12:51 AM
I loved everything about the B4, I loved the curbow best but didnt like the feel of the body.
Yep, the B4FL is a great little bass.

I played a B5 fretted yesterday with a mahogany body.

I was very impressed, had a similar neck in feel to a warwick which I loved, plus the tone out of it was beautiful, very rich and warm.

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 12:52 AM

I liked the curbow tone more, but the lower horn threw me off. If I played standing more I wouldn't mind but I seldomly stand.

I found the curbow tone to be a bit too "synthetic"for my tastes. I found the B series to have more versatility and richness in the tone.

I might actually prefer the B series with the swamp ash and mahogany bodies to the nicer built A series.

Plus the fact that Corts or dirt cheap and the quality is great is a real added bonus.

What I would really like is one of their Elrick models.

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 01:00 AM

The swampash cort is the one I played.

ebe9 10-27-2006 01:08 AM
The swampash cort is the one I played.
My one has that body, great sound.

I would love to track one down that has the mahoganny bodyand A/B them.

Might actually just build one and be done with it.

Speak of the Cort and the Cort Whore shall appear.

Good Morning Mr. Funky

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 01:22 AM

Buying gear sucks now, the store I work in got written up for some labor law dispute so now my checks are going to be like $40 less a week.. :(

Did you sign a contract with them?

Or are you just casual staff?

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 01:25 AM

I dont have a contract per say, but they do have papers on me.

My work permit allows 25 hours a week, I was sneaking 40.

Well there's your problem.

As an employee, don't you get a discount?

Jody LeCompte 10-27-2006 01:29 AM

Nope.
