Little Man being Erased 03-15-2005 07:17 PM

And you haven't had a dabilitating siezure?

malpractice9 03-16-2005 12:06 AM

theres a sale on at the cd store.. should i get:
The Flaming Lips : Soft Bulletin
The Flaming Lips : Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
or The Shins : Oh Inverted World
and unfortunately, "all three" isn't a possibility!

currently listening to : the Notwist - your signs

Little Man being Erased 03-16-2005 12:09 AM

You really need all three. But if I had to choose one, I'd probably go for The Shins.

asymm 03-16-2005 12:17 AM

I'd say get The Flaming Lips - "Soft Bulletin", but any of those albums are winners

Subterranean Homesick Alien 03-16-2005 12:54 AM

Poison the Well's oldest CD The Opposite of December, especially tracks "A Wish for Wings that Work" and "Slice Paper Wrists"

Also the "No Self Control" CD by the Planet Smashers especially the song "I Wish I Were American." That is a friggin awesome ska song. It would be my favorite ska song, if it wasn't for the Aquabats "Super Rad" and "Captain Hampton and the Midget Pirates."

Iai 03-16-2005 05:12 AM

So far today, it's been Joy Division's 'Permanent' and Captain Beefheart's 'Trout Mask Replica'.

I just got Ian Mackaye's new duo The Evens brand new album featuring Amy Farina on drums. It's fackin genious, much better than I expected especially from I see as a side project. I'm content without a Fugazi release for a while now.

Oh, and it makes the White Stripes look like shat.

Cool :)

You should check him out. He's similar to a more organized and high pitched Captain Beefheart, with a concept.
