whats some good stuff by opeth?

ArcLite 10-20-2005 09:09 AM

The Blackwater Park album is what got me into them. Check out The Leper Affinity and Bleak for sample songs. Then proceed to buy all their albums.

You really can't go wrong with Opeth. If I were to recommend albums you defenitely should check out, they would be Orchid, Blackwater Park, Morningrise, and My Arms, Your Hearse. All great albums.
Could someone recommend some bands similar to Emperor, Arcturus, and Soleflad? I think it would considered Symphonic Black Metal. Also, what is the best Soleflad album? Thanks
I don't know if it's a typo or not, but it's SOLEFALD.

anyways: if you want real Sympho Black Solefald try: Pills Against The Ageless Ills.

you can also try the new album: Red For Fire, it's more a vkingblack approach.

if you like the bands you mentioned check out: Lunar Aurora ( as mentioned before) Aberrant Vascular, Fleurety..

enjoy!

Okay, I'm on a quest. I am looking for the most BRUTAL and CRAZY Hardcore/metal music that has been produced. Something kinda along the lines of Norma Jean and Dillinger Escape Plan. I'm talking the most "I'm going to light a church on fire!" heavy breakdowns. Something that'll make me go "" when I hear its heaviness. Any band/song sugesstions guys?

Dude3 10-21-2005 09:54 PM

Anybody^?

[OverDriven] 10-22-2005 01:13 AM

How about some real heavy metalcore/nu-metal bands that actually sing and aren't all about screaming vocals?

ArcLite 10-22-2005 01:16 AM

Just get Demons & Wizards' self-titled album and be very happy.

How about Cephalic Carnage and PsyOpus? Do also you care about extremely technical metal without -core influences?

I'm kinda deciding on which album to get.

What would you say is a better buy out of these two?:

Between the Buried and Me - Alaska

OR

Cephalic Carnage - Anomalies
