Ah we both love Still Life and when I was in england I got it for 20 pounds.

Im hoping to pick that up, with Deliverance, and another album (probably million dead), and use my £5 off £35 purchases voucher. So £20 sounds ok.

but eh, whatever floats your boat i suppose, a lot of people love drapery, but i quite dislike it..............and the grnad conjuration is a big let down, Opeth is dead:( this new band is still very good, i quite like them, but Opeth is dead, it will never be what it used to be, the last 3 albums have become increasingly less complex.

You've heard a crappy quality track from a whole album.. please don't base your decision on that track and it's quality.. You should at least wait til' you hear it all man. Opeth isn't dead.

Yeah, that's where I'm seeing them. I'm afraid of that, but then again there's this formula I've been using lately that's helped me out alot:

Short Opeth set = better than no Opeth set.

Plus, I'd love to see Strapping Young Lad.

So today, I downloaded a powertab for Dirge For November. I'm having slight difficulties navigating some of the chord changes, but hopefully I'll be able to throw down a recording of it for fun. I'm still trying to perfect the intro, but overall, it sounds very sexy. :cool:

NP: Bleak- The only part I don't like is the acoustic slides in the intro. I'm sure they were meant to sound discordant, but to me, they just kind of sound quirky and funny. Other than that, I find it to be a rather solid track.

The last Opeth setlist I saw went like this

Opeth our part of the Sounds of the Underground tour at the moment.. the other bands really are mainly hardcore/metalcore bands it seems like. But Devildriver seems alright with me, and I think I'm alright with Strapping Young Lad so far :) .

Oh ok, now I get why they only played 3 songs. :p

Ohh yeah, I heard about the new song, but I haven't heard it. I saw a link to it, but it was 320 kbps, and I figured the song was long, so that combo would not be too 56k-friendly. :shrug: So is there a release date or anything yet? I assume they're close if they've already released a song.

The song is only like 9:55, I don't know why the file size is so big. The quality sucks to.

Yeah.. kinda wish I never listened to it because of the quality.. hearing it first time in CD quality would've gave me a better impression but I like it none the less! :thumb: Remember.. they are aiming for a heavy album on this release :)
