i like the intro to alot of metallica songs but when the vocals come on it just kills the whole song and I have to turn it off. (talking load - stanger)

does anyone feel the same way?

I love variation in songs.

I really like Hetfield's voice on Load/ReLoad, has a very strong southern rock feel to it, I think.

No. between 91 and 96 they released/toured the Black album and toured and released Load and Reload.

when they toured for load and reload they were still a good band. even if they did stop metal for 2 albums, so what? they just dug a huge hole for themselfs by lars sueing napster and then them trying to win their fans back with st anger which turned out completely bad. (though it did get them in the spotlight agian)

That reminds me, why do a lot of people accuse metallica of selling out because they cut their hair? I mean maybe they just felt like getting a hair cut after 20 years or something lol. (I know that that's not the only reason people accuse them of selling out)
