Yeah. Golf is fun to play, but boring to watch.

Ahahaha. That reminds me. I heard a good joke yesterday.

What do you call 300 white guys chasing one black guy?

The PGA Tour.

Tjebby 08-13-2005 10:49 AM

I quit hockey to start snowboarding. I don't regret my decision at all.

Fish 08-13-2005 11:22 AM

Lucky bastard.

I was pretty good at hockey. I was on the "Caddilac Commets". We were actually pretty good.

I want to at least go to Boyne Mountain once or twice this year. Crystal gets really really boring.

Fish 08-13-2005 11:28 AM

yeah i was the captain for my team, Uxbridge Stars AA rep, but i just couldnt play with the guys anymore because they were all dicks. I wanna go to whistler, i think im going next year. Ive been boarding for 6 years now, how long have you been going for?

thomas is fast 08-13-2005 11:32 AM

ChodaBoy 08-13-2005 12:00 PM

Just me or is MX going back a few months.

AKA, getting slow

chumpradio 08-13-2005 12:23 PM

Yeah, it's been really slow today.
It's not quite as bad as it was ages ago though.

Untitled 08-13-2005 01:51 PM

Fish 08-13-2005 01:54 PM

Untitled 08-13-2005 03:39 PM

NOooooo

Big Brother, is over, it had yestodays happening on, and they did the scary thing, where they show the rooms empty, and they have some of the famous qoutes goatly echoing over it, then the lights go off, and i want to cry.

chumpradio 08-13-2005 03:56 PM

I just watched Groundhog Day, I hadn't seen that film in years.
Great movie.

My neighbours are having a party. All I can hear is men in their 50s laughing very loudly and annoyingly. So I have turned up my Alkaline Trio and left my windows open. May play a bit of guitar as well, through my very big bass amp with an effects pedal for distortion.

Gnarmageddon 08-13-2005 03:58 PM

I'm going to watch Wayne's World tonight. And I might watch Shaun Of The Dead after that.

And maybe even watch City Of God one more time. :cool:x2

Understanding In a Crash 08-13-2005 03:59 PM

I just got back from warped tour... I left an hour early because of the heat and dustwave... it was bad but I got to see most of the bands I wanted too, list coming later.

Yeah, this plan failed.
They ended up shouting requests towards my bedroom window, so I stopped playing because they didn't get pissed off by me.

CommieCanada 08-13-2005 04:02 PM

went to a kick arse ska show last night, im glad they still have those regularly down here.

tonight = HARDCORE show

Gnarmageddon 08-13-2005 04:04 PM

Lucky. I want to go to a ska show, but there are never any around here. There's just a bunch of stupid hardcore shows that are never any fun.

Okay heres the run down of bands saw... Thrice, Greely Estates, ASG, Street Dogs, A7X, Motion City Soundtrack, Jerra, Skindred, Mest, Circa Survive, Senses Fail, Saosin, Opiate for the masses, and Hawthorne Heights. Alot of smaller bands in the tents too and some names I just didn't even recognize.

Without a doubt the bands that put on the best sets were, Saosin, Thrice, and Skindred.

Hawthorne Heights had awful vocals and so did Senses Fail.

Motion City Soundtrack for the first time I could say was boring.

Circa Survive was getting alot of heat with kids giving Anthony Green the finger. They did okay though..

Streetdogs was one of my favorite sets because they brought out someone from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and they did an awesome cover of Rise Above by Black Flag where the microphone was like 5 inches away from me when he jumped in the crowd.

Thrice had one of the best pits but they played newer stuff, and stuff off their new album. One of the guys hurt his leg really bad I think they said he tore an ACL and I helped carry him out to get help with the other guys.

Saosin was the best set because I was all the way in front. Everything about them was good and they didn't pull a taking back sunday, the new vocalist was NOT afriad to sing the stuff Anthony Green made outstanding, and to be honest he did a better job. He definitely has alot of traits of Anthony Green and hes a much better screamer when I saw him.

Bad things - They call the warped tour at Randalls Isle. the Dust Bowl. I feel like I got black lung right now...

Crowd surfing - I dont see anything wrong with pits but I have a seriously bone about crowd surfing. I dont understand why 12 year old girls and fat guys need to be crowd surfing to get pushed over and groped by security guards. It kills peoples experience who want to watch the show and not smell your stinky ass flying above them. The morale in the pits I've been in are stellar and thats why I dont think anyone dislikes them. No one gets pushed into the pit and no one gets trampled on. During the Streetdogs pit a kid tripped when we were circling and everyone stopped to help him up. Pits may look bad but without idiots they are more then fine IMO.

Good things - Alot of hot guys and girls, merchandise.

Oh yeah I got groped so much and so did alot of girls. It's sad but girls are just as stupid to try and crowd surf in a bikini.

Understanding In a Crash 08-13-2005 04:22 PM

OMFG and I forgot... :upset:

Like an hour after the Saosin set I saw the Lead guitarist walking through the tents and I couldn't feel my legs but I said I <3 YOU and he patted my head. I want sex! GUYS!
