My Finale Guitar program exports my new song as a "Standard MIDI file" but none of the proper instrumentation is retained when converted into the file and played in players like Quicktime, etc: my electric guitars, bass guitars, and synths all register as straight piano and the drums are much sharper than normal. Does anyone know how to export the file so that it'll play in quicktime or any other player with the right MIDI sound?
