That's because if this thread were an indian villiage, Badmoon would be the wise elder. Nobody knows why

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:06 PM

Badmoon is actually like, 15, I think.

I actually think I'm the oldest reg (or semi-reg) in the thread o_O

Krabsworth 08-04-2005 07:07 PM

I wish the thread search was better, I wanna find the post I made in here like 9 months ago. Just to see how I spelled, etc, etc.

jpj 08-04-2005 07:08 PM

Badmoon is only 8 years old.

Use "advanced search"

Walrus Gumboot 08-04-2005 07:09 PM

I just got back from looking at Bard college, I'd kill to go there. Anyone else looking at it

/doesn't even try to make this CR-related

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:13 PM

Bard's the art school in New York, right?

Liberal Arts, but yeah. It's pretty good for a hippie

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:15 PM

Oh.

Well, I never really had much interest in it. I wanted to go to a bigger school, myself. And I did.
Liberal Arts, but yeah. It's pretty good for a hippie
I'm going to be a junior in the fall, and my mom is trying to pressure me into starting to look at schools. The only school I've visited is Rice in Houston, and that wasn't a real visit. Rice was cool though. My grandfather, from Boston, is probably going to pressure me into going to school there, and I plan on looking there and at some other northeast schools like Colgate or maybe a small school in Vermont. Small schools in Vermont = Hippy schools.

My high school has about 600 kids, so it seems a bit large to me. College searching is such a pain in the ***

What school did you finally decide to grace your presence with?

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:21 PM

robo: Colgate? Hope you're rich. Colgate = Patriot League = $$$
What school did you finally decide to grace your presence with?
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (aka, University of Illinois), which has about 30k undergrads.

 That's alot

Wouldn't it be funny if some of us CR regs went to the same college?

I think I decided last year that I wasn't cool enough for Colgate

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:29 PM
 That's alot
'tis

The only schools I applied to had 20k+ undergrads: UNC, Illinois, UCLA, Washington, Oregon, Iowa

My grandfather is going to be chipping in big-time for wherever I go to college.

Zepphead101 08-04-2005 07:37 PM

Ya there coming back!!!!

Heck ya they are!!! I absolutely love Zeppelin, hints the name, i love zztop, eric clapton and pink floyd. But yes the classic rock is coming back. I mostley love them because there guitar work is awsome and whenever im down i go and play stairway to heaven on my guitar. Well, have a nice day!

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:39 PM

Who is Zeppelin?

Walrus Gumboot 08-04-2005 07:48 PM

I think a Classic Rock sub-forum would be wicked

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:49 PM

I don't see the need.

jpj 08-04-2005 07:49 PM
I think a Classic Rock sub-forum would be wicked
There's no need or purpose for one.

Zepphead101 08-04-2005 07:51 PM

I love Zeppelin and pink floyd:
Led Zeppelin, The who, America, Pink Floyd, ZZ top, Eric Clapton, Don Mclean(American Pie), Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Stevie ray vaughn. So i like mostley classic and folkish blues.

Illmatic 08-04-2005 07:52 PM

Who is Led Zeppelin?

Walrus Gumboot 08-04-2005 07:53 PM

Usefull: No. Wicked: Yes.
I don't see the need.
I kind of see this thread as it's own small forum. A classic rock forum wouldn't make any sense. It would make sense to make different rock and metal forums though.
Panama Red is great. Have you heard the s/t though?
Yea, I own and love the s/t
Can you upload The Family that Plays Together by Spirit? :)

How is that Electric Prunes album? I have yet to go searching for it because I haven't heard many opinions on it. What's your take?
I could probably get it up tonight, and I haven't even gotten to the Electric Prunes album yet. I'll let you know how it goes. I figured you especially might be interested in the Spirit albums, Easter Everywhere, and the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band unless you've already heard them.
Happy Birthday!
That sounds like my deal, this year I get an mp3 player :D
If today is your birthday Lunch, it appears that you are exactly 2 days older than me
I saved up myself and bought a Creative Zen earlier this year, and my birthday was on July 31st.

/long post that had little to do with Classic rock, sorry.

Spirit - The Family that Plays Together:

Very interesting album, a bit softer than 12 Dreams but definitely worth it.

I'm 15, and 16 in October (8th).

I never owned an ACDC shirt. The pictures I posted had me wearing my Eat a Peach shirt and my Steal Your Face shirt.

I've posted two pictures of myself. In one picture my face was not visable, and in the other a camera was covering my face; each picture was kind of old. They were posted on Br3ad Man's forums; I deleted them, and I think his forums has been shut down.

A Classic Rock subforum wouldn't be good. It would break up our community.

Is anyone here into John Scofield? I have found "A-Go-Go" in my basement, it's pretty groovy

EDIT: I could have sworn that you were 18, Moon  My memory fails me. Here I come nursing home

The last review is by "Illmatic" !!! The imposter gave The White Album 1/5 stars. Atleast I hope it was an imposter.

Indeed it is Harry Potter's birthday.
