i am the robots 10-30-2005 09:52 PM

The show sold out sometime between 5 AM and 10 PM, and when I went to order my ticket about 40 mins ago because my parents were away all weekend, bam, sold out.

How'd you find this?

EDIT: Kage, you blew the socks off of Lunch's fanboyism. :amaze: That's a lot of Porcupine Tree.

Christ, you told me you couldn't stop listening to Porcupine Tree, but I just took it as a figure of speech. I didn't think you actually meant you couldn't stop listening.

 Oh, I was quite serious. I must've listened to YHD ten times this week, not to mention all their other albums.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 10:09 PM

Mine isn't doing that. Do you have one of those upgraded profiles or something? I can click on the nieghbor icon to show their avatar, but that's it.

How does that work? You share 14% with him, but he has no more than 4%...Something seems afoot here. :p

blueyxd 10-30-2005 10:33 PM

They listen to some of the same music, but one of them listens to more stuff than the other.. too easy

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 10:36 PM

Ha, man, I'd use the "bah, it's too late to think alertly" excuse here , but goddammit, it's 8:30.

Steerpike 10-31-2005 12:18 AM

Winding down the day. We filmed our delightfully campy Halloween special tonight. There were some hitches and setbacks, and untilmately I had to warp my plans a bit, but we got it going and everyone enjoyed themselves. To say nothing of the after-party.

My friend and I really gave our culinary skills a work-out today. This was the spread:

Ghoulade (lemon-lime punch)
Cheesecake
Eyeball jello
Cheese mummy (huge fucking quesadillas)
Tom Savini special (chicken lo-mein with lots of red food coloring)
Haunted cupcakes (cupcakes with pop-rocks)
Pumpkin-frosted cupcakes and gummy worms
Pumpkin dip with chocolate blood and Ritz crackers
Monster fingers (cocktail franks wrapped halfway in tortillas with ketchup)
Apple cider (alcoholic, contrary to what we thought)

Not a bad night. And tomorrow I'm greeting trick-or-treaters with a little sleight of hand and Tocatta and Fugue on the guitar.

Riva 10-31-2005 01:54 AM

What'd you put in the eyeball Jello?

Oh, yeah, happy Halloween everyone!

(Lives in a country with no Halloween tradition, so cannot empathise with you filthy Americans)

I wouldn't mind dressing up though.

Arucard 10-31-2005 01:54 AM

I listened to so little music this week.

1 Bridge To Solace 20
2 Dragonforce 14
3 Electric Six 4
3 Break the Silence 4
5 Metallica 2
5 Linkin Park 2
5 AFI 2
5 Pro-Pain 2
5 Sonata Arctica 2
10 Adam Kay & Suman Biswas 1

We get Hallowe'en too :).

morrissey 10-31-2005 02:24 AM

My nearest neighbour is this guy with 23%, as far as I can see there are no MXers on my list. Even at 23% the taste is pretty similar, it varies more in order of the favourite bands than anything.

Chocolate eyeballs.

And yes, the dressing up part is nice. Think about it. It's a time of year when you can ask your girlfriend to dress up as a French maid and you don't get any weird looks.

Riva 10-31-2005 02:28 AM

I never get weird looks... :shifty:

Well, I'll save up and head on over to America to experience All Hallow's Eve, then go on to England and have a White Christmas.

EDIT: Ollie (Lord Abortion) and Tyler (Freezing Moon) are my neighbours on Audioscrob.

Six Foot Revolver 10-31-2005 02:29 AM

We haven't had a white christmas in almost 30 years. Just warning you.

Riva 10-31-2005 02:32 AM

Yeah, and I just realised it sounds like we're talking about an ethnic cleansing. :p

By the way, Jake, you should have called yourself The Jake. :p

Tyler seems to be everyones neighbour.
