Lunch 08-04-2005 10:27 AM
Wow, that's an awesome haul. I'd never get that many CD's in one sitting.
Lets just say it took me awhile to rip all that onto my computer.

jpj 08-04-2005 10:53 AM

On Christmas I ripped all 32 or so CD's I got onto the computer. That was fun.

Lunch 08-04-2005 10:54 AM

Blast, your 32>my 15.

PinkFreud 08-04-2005 11:02 AM
I'd do you, right here, right now..... but you're not, so you're gonna have to make with with a 'god yes!' and 'thank you'. :D
ColonelSanderz 08-04-2005 12:29 PM

Anyone ever listen to the Ten Years After Undead album? It's more jazzy compared to thier other stuff. Leo Lyons is a pretty good bassist, he does some impressive bass solos.

BludgeonySteve 08-04-2005 12:53 PM

Their guitarist is really good. Some of his stuff is bordering wank though.

thickasabrick 08-04-2005 01:03 PM
Their guitarist is really good. Some of his stuff is bordering wank though.
That's what I find as well. I can see the obvious skill, but the music doesn't always hit the spot.

Glitterati 08-04-2005 01:46 PM

Lunch, that's a pretty awesome haul. Happy birthday, too

How is that Electric Prunes album? I have yet to go searching for it because I haven't heard many opinions on it. What's your take?

I'm not sure if you'll find anyone here who will share this belief.

BludgeonySteve 08-04-2005 05:45 PM

I like AC/DC, but I think that Thunderstruck sucks. Bon Scott 4 lyf

Illmatic 08-04-2005 06:13 PM

Never heard of AC/DC.

ZZ Top isn't a guitarist, it's the name of the band.

Who is AC/DC by the way? I can't say I've heard of them. I see lots of people talk about them.

You don't get to decide what this thread's best momment was. Only the one that you've seen that was the best out of what you've seen. :) (because this is my thread!)

JonG 08-04-2005 06:24 PM

I'm serious. I wish Cypress will tell me.

Walrus Gumboot 08-04-2005 06:28 PM
That was my whole birthday gift, which I'm pleased with. Basically I just tell my parents what I want and they get it for me. Usually around $200. I like the system.
Happy Birthday!
That sounds like my deal, this year I get an mp3 player :D

If today is your birthday Lunch, it appears that you are exactly 2 days older than me

AC/DC are really copiously overated.

I have about 4 of their albums, it's so generic it's unbearable.
