yes, but you have to bare in mind that I'm not a huge fan of Metallica. But I love 'Tuesdays Gone' because it is a collabaration with some other artists which I really do like e.g. Jerry Cantrell and Pepper Keenan. I only really like the first 4 albums, although I don't think they have any 'bad' songs'(at least that I have heard).

Joe 11-02-2005 01:51 PM

My fav of MoP, S&D and AJFA is definitely MoP.
YES IT MEANS HOLY **** MOTHER****ER, CHILL OUT WITH THE ACRONYMS!
Clever, except you're banned :thumb:

Metallica? Bad Songs? There are none! (well there's a good handful).

NP: Fade to Black 8/17/85. They haven't updated the vault yet.

There are quite a few bad Metallica songs. For examle, I think Don't Tread on Me is bad, as is The Thing That Should Not Be (but those two are the only bad pre-Load songs in my opinion). I don't like So What at all, along with maybe two or three other Garage Inc. songs and that's about it.

I disagree. It's not bad bad, but it doesn't catch me.

Sad is spelled wrong  it's ok, welcome to the forums

I never would've made that link but you're right...

Britton 11-02-2005 03:38 PM

the album has incredible licks that are really easy to play.

I learnd sad but true on drums!

I know big deal right?

but the thing is I'm getting really fast and my hands can't take it at this time
so I'm taking a break from guitar. The car situation might not be so bad.
we might get a four runner or however you spell it. So I will be able to blast
blackened jump in the fire and Battery while driving (not that I have anywhere to go)

I got a student (two actually) and the first thing I asked him was "what
type of music do you want to play?" He said Metallica...I was like Holy cow
we are gonna get along great

Jev 11-02-2005 03:45 PM

You teach guitar? I couldn't handle teaching anyone guitar, I'd kill 'em cos of my intolerance.

Britton 11-02-2005 03:46 PM

Yep I'm a good teacher! at least I'm told that. I havn't had them for very long
so they are kinda my little test rats so we shall find out if I'm any good

fatbandit 11-02-2005 03:48 PM

Not just that, I don't feel I'm a good enough teacher...

I wouldn't want to be responsible for fecking up someone's learning.

And Happy, get your avatar back

Aww but I like me as a Ninja. I'll bring it back soon.

errorleet 11-02-2005 03:52 PM

which is the hardest metallica song to play on guitar(rhythm) ?

Father_Jack 11-02-2005 03:55 PM
which is the hardest metallica song to play on guitar(rhythm) ?
Not really too sure, Battery is hard to get down with the speed and all, and most AJFA songs are a little difficult. Master of Puppets is a little hard if you're gunna downpick it all.

Jev 11-02-2005 03:56 PM

Yeah what Father Jack said and the intro of Call of Ktulu is pretty difficult.

Hmm yea that's what I thought first...but I think I'm pretty good
so I hope it works out for them

Dyers eve is frickin hard to learn
Yeah what Father Jack said and the intro of Call of Ktulu is pretty difficult.
That was a real pain in the arse to learn, and theres no distortion to cover you a$s if you mess it up :p

Britton 11-02-2005 03:58 PM

That's beautiful song

lol beginner? i forget what your drum history is. sad but true = cinch.

the intro of ktulu isnt that bad, i would agree with father jack in saying that mop is difficult because of downpicking. its really easy to play, but if you don't have good stamina you're going down.

Father_Jack 11-02-2005 04:01 PM

If you don't have much experiance with string skipping like me, (one of the reasons I wanted to learn it), then it can be quite a pain.

I bet you know what song I play really loud :D

I'm thinking I might teach guitar eventually at the shop where I take lessons now. My guitar teacher thinks I'm really good, but I need theory work and less boring work. The solos I write myself are really the same... well at least in the same penatonics and such... But I'm working on it.
