Manchester >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Any other city ever, im gonna keep saying that untill i go to a better city...
York > Manchester.

In some ways. I'm biased against big cities though, so I would say that.

leking 08-12-2005 07:37 PM

youi know what i really am falling in love with manchester, its got all the benefits of a big city, but its not too big, like i live away from the city cente where its not so busy but i can get to the city centre in 20 mins on a bus that i harldy ever have to wait for, i wouldn't mind living here to be honest...

and york is boring!¬!!!

Untitled 08-12-2005 07:39 PM

For me, depending on which bus i get its can be 20minutes, or 45minutes, or 20minutes on the tram. And manchester aint all that big, you can walk from one side of the central shopping bit to the other in under an hour.

billiejoe84 08-12-2005 07:41 PM

York is not boring! I live here - what more do you want.

At least neither of you live in Leeds... bleh.

leking 08-12-2005 07:44 PM

thats why i like it, its not so big, but has everything a big city would have (mostly), and the shops are set out nicely for a guy with a shopping loving girlfriend, we went shopping in leeds once, its massive!!!!! we walked for ages...:upset:

Untitled 08-12-2005 07:46 PM

Ha ha. I can litteraly get off the bus, walk to market street and have everyshop i want within 100metres, either in the arndale, or up near aflecks.

Dead Star 08-12-2005 07:47 PM

NP: Racer X - Street Lethal

OK, while broadband may be mint for downloading stuff, it has caused me to have this song, and it's actually depressing how fast Paul Gilbert can play guitar. I've been trying to learn to shred recently, but this makes me sound like a slow boogie shuffle. One day, just maybe..... :wistful look:

leking 08-12-2005 07:51 PM

yup, miss selfridge and top shop are close to each other, so i don;t have to walk very far either..:(

and i'm gonna apply for a job in Disney Shop i think, man that would be cool to work there!

Understanding In a Crash 08-12-2005 07:52 PM
Who he?
The Primus guitarist. I used to think he was a noise guitarist but hes really good actually :thumb:

His tone is pretty raw too.

Untitled 08-12-2005 08:08 PM

Im gonna shoot off to bed. Night.

billiejoe84 08-12-2005 08:09 PM

/me doesn't know any Primus

I've been downloading a lot of ridiculous shred music today, although I dunno why. All it does is depress me that I'll never be that good.

Understanding In a Crash 08-12-2005 08:10 PM

I love Primus, the vocals can never be takened seriously but they are a musicianship band. Kind of reminds me of Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa and Rush all together :thumb:

You never know, I listen to funky basslines to inspire me to play that well.

I'veen listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers a lot lately.

/me makes mental note to check them out

I love good musicianship in bands. The only bands I listen to regularly though who could be considered superb musicians are SikTh and The Dillinger Escape Plan, and possibly a couple of the guys from Shadows Fall.
