Thanks, I think I'll sign up. My lists will be short for a while, considering I only have two albums on my computer right now. :)

I can't help it that you soil your lists with glam and happen to put a pearl in.

What a productive week.

Speaking of which, I'm about to bust some caps, since there are 17 retards in this computer lab, who are puzzling through Audacity like some lost geriatrics who wandered to far from the Whispering Oaks Retirement Home for the Senile and missed out on their medication.

Oh, and some guy who thinks he's tops because he made an "ambient" track from a waterfall and cricket noises. He also said he's trying this new thing and keeping production levels really low, so that you can distinguish it from "real music". Argh. I hate these moronic education students.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-30-2005 08:06 PM

Ohh Razor and Running Wild, Nice.

Shadows 10-30-2005 08:07 PM

Lately I've been listening to Exodus and not much else.

Riva 10-30-2005 08:18 PM

ARGH! I WANT TO KILL THIS FUCKIN' INDIE SCENE JOCK WHO THINKS HE'S AN ALTERNATIVE MUSICIAN BECAUSE HE ADDED A DAMN AMBIENT WATERFALL LOOP TO HIS BULLCRAP EDUCATION SPOKEN WORD PROJECT. STOP PLAYING IT AT THE TOP VOLUME, RETARD.

Have you heard their live album Another Lesson In Violence?

Riva 10-30-2005 08:22 PM

Bah. Only Manowar understands my pain.

Shadows 10-30-2005 08:22 PM
Have you heard their live album Another Lesson In Violence?
Nope. I'm just getting into them. They're now one of two thrash bands I like. I heard one of their new songs on MusicChoice, donwloaded SHKM, and I'm loving it. Would you recommend it?

NP: Raze

Apocalyptic Raids 10-30-2005 08:41 PM

hmm... It is the live album from their Reunion in 97. It has the original singer on it. The setlist is pretty much all their first album (Bonded By Blood) except one track and a few other older ones. It is great for giving an idea of their older material with a more modern production. (It is mixed by Andy Sneap... so think of his studio sound... but live!).

You should either get that or Bonded By Blood. Bonded is quite different from SKHM though.

I'll check it out. I used to really dislike thrash but now I'm finding that I love some of it, so I'm open to suggestions.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-30-2005 08:49 PM

You should sign up for the mailing list then. This week is the essentials.

Shadows 10-30-2005 08:51 PM

Oh yeah, I completely forgot there was a thrash mailing list. I'll find the thread and sign up.

Jacaranda- When you're playing pop, don't forget to turn off your Audioscrobbler plugin. just keeding. :D

I think I might have left them playing, but it would still only have been on a small time increment, maybe like 30 minutes or so...

No real excuse for that one though :upset:

Yea, I think that's just unhealthy. However, I do know that I never/hardly listened to them in the car/going to sleep/elsewhere, so I made up for that on the computer.

But....that's 3 times as much as I listened to Thrice last week (or 2 weeks ago, last week's chart), when their new album came out.

Lunch 10-30-2005 09:26 PM

I have no excuse.

1. Soundgarden - 12
2. Reel Big Fish - 8
3. Anathema - 6
3. Custard - 6
3. Broken Social Scene - 6
3. Cog - 6
3. Pearl Jam - 6
8. Substitute Inc. - 4
8. The Gathering - 4
8. Björk - 4

Seems about the usual for me. Even the low counts.. maybe I do have a life after all. Or maybe I just have more artists to choose from and listen randomly. Total plays: 258, how does that compare to everyone else?

Also, my nearest neighbour is only 4.3581%... I'm an individual :D

I'm so dissappointed that my parents have been away this weekend, it just ****ed up what I've been looking forward to all month.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-30-2005 09:41 PM

Something to do with Opeth?

i am the robots 10-30-2005 09:43 PM

Yeah, I am so freaking dissapointed. Like... all of my friends are going, and I'm gonna be sitting at home.
