I've actually tried to learn C++. Never will I try to do anything that hard again.

I did program a simple hello world program that instead of hello world, I had the metallica logo using asteriks.

 :naughty:

Man, I'm starting to spam.. I'm going for a walk guys, see ya.

Wow! Did you go straight into C++ or did you have prior knowledge? C++ is amazing, although Smalltalk is better :D

I'm working on a hl2 mod at the moment with like 3 other guys, I'm head programmer, it's coming along nicely.

Britton 11-01-2005 05:13 PM

Okay so I;m seeing lots of St. Anger bashing...it's not their best work
But I didn't hear allotta other stuff in 03 that I liked so the bottom line
is Tallica's least best work is still better then 90% of the stuff I hear on
San Antonio radio.

It's fine to say that you don;t like it but please don't bash it.

ps you know it was thrown together right?

No, I had no other prior programming knowledge but a friend that I was staying with is excellent with it and I started reading some of his C++ books.

I got bored and spent probably 4-6 hours doing this otherwise simple program.

I actually liked it so much that I did one for slayer too.

Please for the love of god tell me you're going to sleep before you get behind the wheel. I don't have many friends and I don't like losing the ones I do have because of a lack of sleep.

blue3 11-01-2005 05:39 PM

Get an MP3/CD player to listen to Metallica?

I've seen boomboxes for 30 bucks at walmart. Not very loud but you can play all the Metallica you want.

No I'm not gonna do that trust me. And I'm not gonna impair my hearing
with Headohones while I'm drinving either...so no music unless I drive another
car...oh well.

Well I'm gonna go get something to eat at a drive in...

Like I said, get a boombox. You don't need headphones and you can use batter(y)s (haha get it battery  ....:upset: ) or plug it into the cig. lighter of your car.

metalmilitia101 11-01-2005 09:44 PM

[QUOTE=sabbutrue16]Question:

I hated Seek and Destroy, James voice on that song got extremely annoying repeating "Searchiiiiin Seek & Destroy" ...And Justice for All was a great song that just carried on far to long to become anything special. I love the song it's just no where as good as Master of Puppets. That song is truly amazing, the solo's the guitar work, and well just everything about it is great.

yeah lol funny that's like mainly what i'm talking about. its just insane to jam too, i'm surprised i don't break my snare every time. perfect tempo and rhythym. oh btw, more awesome jamming songs are whiplash, motorbreath, frantic, dyer's eve, and orion

Jev 11-02-2005 10:16 AM

I don't see the appeal in SKOM, I think it's pretty boring (the song that is)

Deth 11-02-2005 10:48 AM

Dyer's Eve is the greatest Metallica song of all time.
