It's a great album. Except it.
Thanks for forming my opinion for me. I was worried I'd have to make my own decision about something.
Woodstock: Good news! Head Hunters is certainly the best Jazz album I've heard. Tell me when you want me to send it to you.
Well, my AIM is screwed up right now, but when it gets fixed, I will.

I passed up the chance to buy The Who Sell Out yesterday. How good is it on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being Tommy, 1 being err. umm, really bad (can't think of a bad who album)

It's at least an 8, IMO. But you might not like it as much as I do, since no one else does.
i recently got abbey road and i don't personaly see why people are always saying it is awesome, the first couple songs and true classics, but after that their are a lot of medicore songs with a few good ones.
That's what I thought the first time I listened to it. I'd recommned listening all the way through a few more times. It'll grow on you soon enough. My favorite song is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)".

This confirms my suspicions of you being a stoner.

Maybe, but I am at least not foolish toward the subject by any means.

Read the review and buy the album, it's really good.

Nashville Skyline Rag is a great song, even if I'm not sure the whole album is great.

I really like part of that album, but part of it I hate.
How's the Jefferson Airplane?
Very good.

Badmoon 04-16-2005 10:10 AM

I don't like their version of "Wooden Ships".

lunch998 04-16-2005 10:15 AM

Really? I like it.

I prefer Surrealistic Pillow to this album though.

Do you already have Abraxas? If not, then I would get that. IMO the best Santana album, then the s/t.

Glitterati 04-16-2005 12:30 PM

So I found The Best Of The Band the other day in my parent's CD collection:).

Very good CD, but there is plenty other good songs by them. Although, I love every song on that CD, it's probably the best GH CD I know of.

LedHead712 04-16-2005 12:33 PM

What is Santana's s/t?

Glitterati 04-16-2005 12:36 PM
it's probably the best GH CD I know of.
Same here. You can't beat "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."

I'm thinking of buying an individual CD of them soon, any recommendations?

Glitterati 04-16-2005 12:37 PM
What is Santana's s/t?
Well, it would probably be called Santana.

LedHead712 04-16-2005 12:39 PM

I have Santana's Greatest (the one from 1974). very good.

my favorite is-I Hope Your Feeling Better.

I also have Santana (1). I rented Abraxas from my local library, but instead of having the Abraxas CD in it, it had a Matchbox Tewnty CD in it, i dont remember which

ATM 04-16-2005 12:44 PM

Do you guys dig Blind Faith?

JonG 04-16-2005 12:47 PM

How can't you? Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, AND Eric Clapton? Check out there s/t.

If you like them check out some Traffic.

<----

ATM 04-16-2005 12:49 PM

Traffic are a super group as well, right? I haven't heard much from them, but I know my dad likes them.

JonG 04-16-2005 12:50 PM

Steve Winwood(Blind Faith) was also in Traffic.
