Tool is most definitely not popular in my town. Ten people (max) like them.

Lord Abortion 10-30-2005 05:15 PM

I don't have a town.
Or a radio station.
I don't get poisoned by Carbon monoxide though...Bonus++

NP-Dragonforce-Through the fire and the flames.

ashman 10-30-2005 05:17 PM

Tool is quite popular amongst the mini people in my city...

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 05:18 PM

I've only heard Tool 4 times on my radio station.

I did hear Triad once, which was quite the intriguing expirience. 1. Tool isn't that popular. 2. Triad is an insturmental

NP: Arcturus- To Thou Who Dwellest in the Night

So far, I'm digging it. :-D

Six Foot Revolver 10-30-2005 05:22 PM

I have never heard a Tool song on the radio etc.

Arucard 10-30-2005 05:24 PM

I'm making a really massive thread of pictures in the pit of this gig i did last night, for fun mainly.
@My English counterpart- Hey, since when have you liked Porcupine Tree?
I have liked them for ages but I have become obsessed with In Absentia recently.
Look you fag, if i was emo i'd be playing a les paul copy.
Emo fag hair is the first step to fake suicide...tut tut and I used to think you were tr00...

Arucard 10-30-2005 05:29 PM

Gawd, i listen to heavier music than you Ash, i am true. Its not about what you look like anyway, its about the music. Just because i like my hair like that.

I hate you all!

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 05:30 PM

If you haven't already, you should definitely check out Deadwing. I prefer it to In Absentia, although they're both a couple of my all time favorites.

We're only kidding, we all love you really :-*

No offence implied here, but saying 'I listen to heavier music than you' is a form of elitism.

I think In Absentia is the only album I own from them, I will check it out :thumb:.

And saying that because i have emo hair i can't be a true metal fan isn't?

Lord Abortion 10-30-2005 05:36 PM

I listen to more extreme metal than either of you, so just STFU, alright?

Six Foot Revolver 10-30-2005 05:36 PM

Not really Ollie, i would say i listen to about as much as you.

You gotta remeber how much Arsis, Drudkh and Hate Forest i do listen to.

Mazeppa 10-30-2005 05:39 PM

I listen to Beethoven, so you lot can stfu.
kno way i iz t3h tr00izt!11!
Don't lie Jake.

ashman 10-30-2005 05:39 PM
And saying that because i have emo hair i can't be a true metal fan isn't?
'twas implied as a joke. I don't care what you look like, you could dress up in a tutu, have pink hair and have an eye patch, and I wouldn't judge you until I'd actually talk to you and know who you are. I only say people aren't true metal fans when they only listen to metal to look cool, or 'be different' like everyone else...

I don't actually think any less of you...

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 05:39 PM

Yeah, but you all eat crumpets, therefore, YOU'RE ALL ABOUT AS TR00 AS MY HOMOSEXUAL ENGLISH TEACHER!
I just went to a friends house to pick up a Asperia Hiems Symfonia/Constellation/My Angel by Arcturus. 3 peices of wicked awesomeness for 11 bucks! Yes! We also jammed for a bit. We played Shallow by Porcupine Tree, and I was like "too bad you don't like Tool." :emo: Then he told me "Just start playing a song, and I'll try to pick it up mid way." He's been playing drums for 11 or so years, so he can do wicked things like that, I guess. Anyways, we played Stinkfist, and it was fun. Then he started playing guitar, and I sat down at his drums.

lol

Yeah, I don't drum.
You bastard, bastard, bastard.

I can't find that album anywhere, let alone for 11 bucks.

Well, he works at Borders, so instead of it being 17, I got it for 11. But yeah, when he told me they had it, I felt like screaming like a school girl.

Do you know who the vocalist was on Aspera Hiems Symfonia? I really like the screams. Some of them literally send a shiver down my spine.

Dammit I know. For some reason my English has become terrible lately...I blame the economic problems in the US, it's causing huge knock on effects across the world...:upset:

You can also blame the overflow of latinos in America, though.

Garm.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-30-2005 06:27 PM

Really? It sounds quite a bit different than Garm on Radical Cut, but the clean vocals do sound like him now that you mention it. The two songs from My Angel sound different though.

Axe 10-30-2005 07:06 PM

ok, so strum reps 116, whoa :-D .
