Do any of you fine gentlemen know how to get this fucking avatar to move like it's supposed to?

Shred Danson 02-22-2005 02:14 PM
Heh thanks.

Tattered on my Sleeve is an awesome song, as is Passion.

But lets be honest with each other, the best song is Darkened Heart rite?

And I really think people should give them more credit, Phil has a great flexible voice, and awesome guitarists, they are a very solid band. They definetly aren't your regular "Metalcore" band. I'd go as far as to say they are more melodic death.
Yeah, I agree. "This Darkened Heart" is an awesome song, but every song on that album rules. Do you have their first CD?

Ramsey 02-22-2005 02:16 PM

I only have a few songs, the first song (with the acoustic intro, I forgot its name, but it rules), This Darkened Heart, Tattered on My Sleeve, Passion, and maybe one more. I agree, that album is great. The guitars are nice too, it seems like they took some time making the tone sound different because they don't sound very heavy, but fit the theme well.

Burdcheese 02-22-2005 02:18 PM
What have you bought?

Anyone here?
I am returnéd

I bought a pair of Ahead drumsticks (the aluminium ones).
To get them shipped all the way from Oklahoma costs less than the sticks themselves over here.

So hurrah for savings :thumb:

I've some other ridiculous bargains which I might try and bid for tomorrow - this is how it begins isn't it?

Yeah, gotta love all the harmonies. The solos in "Vicious Betrayal" are awesome...

Today was my first day of school after the week off and the snow day. It seemed like a long time ago. And it was a pretty boring day.

Illmatic 02-22-2005 02:20 PM

What's happenin', thread??

(two question marks, just like the old TV show)

NP: Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang

I have yet to hear that song :'(

Illmatic 02-22-2005 02:21 PM

And along those lines, how is G-Funk NOT the greatest music genre ever?

Shred Danson 02-22-2005 02:22 PM
I have yet to hear that song :'(
Download it if you can, dude. You won't be dissapointed.

Bartender 02-22-2005 02:22 PM
Bartender, you should go do my forced listening.
Yeah. I will eventually, if no one else does before me, but R&M Forced Listening is quite low down on my list.

Yes :(

I've already spent £120 on one eBay lot this week, and the other one I have my eye on is already up to £50, with four days left.

Ramsey 02-22-2005 02:27 PM

So what does everyone do for a living, eh? I'm still unemployed and currently looking for a job. I also go to school.

In the summer I work for a sprinkler installation company, but right now I don't have a job, and I need one. :upset:

Ramsey 02-22-2005 02:31 PM

Well really I go to college, but I call it school. I'm 19, turning 20 this year. What are all of your ages?

Illmatic 02-22-2005 02:32 PM

/has sixth pick in a fantasy baseball draft and doesn't know who to take

I turn 19 in August. Now back to my question...

RiceMonster 02-22-2005 02:32 PM

I don't have a job. I need one to help pay for the equipment my band needs.

Edit: I'm 15, and will be 16 in june.

magicbus 02-22-2005 02:33 PM

Not a big baseball fan (Tigers)

I'll be 18 in May, and I'm still a senior for a few more months.

Simple Man 02-22-2005 02:33 PM

15.

Illmatic 02-22-2005 02:33 PM

Well, the guy with the 4th pick named his team "Rangers rule", so he'll be taking Alfonso Soriano...

Bartender 02-22-2005 02:33 PM

Does anyone know offhand what the code is for an e with two little dots above it is? (an umlaut, it would be called, if it weren't over an e) Or do I have to start messing around to find one?

Burdcheese 02-22-2005 02:34 PM

magicbus 02-22-2005 02:34 PM
