Today is my first day of work after my second 4 day weekend in a row. This upcoming weekend shall be a 3 day weekend because I turn 21 on Friday.

well, i know how it is, if you speak a foreign language.

i have similar problems with my english; most of the times i know what i'm writing, but sometimes i just cannot write a correct sentence with a proper grammer. if its getting more difficult and i have to use words i don't know, i'm not sure if its correct.

but who cares? the most important thing is that ppl understand you!

Well german tenses are pretty similar to english tenses.
