I <3 my guitar that isn't cheap :D. And I <3 my bass that is cheap.

Puma 09-13-2005 04:08 PM

I forgot about <3ing my cheap bass. So...

I <3 my cheap bass.
I need 952 rep points for stars, so

Dan, I love you...
Jom too if he's hanging around.
Haha, I'm the only one who reps you, I think. But at least you are helpful in the WWE thread, which is awesome. WWE thread homeboy++
Agreed, rep is an easy case in R&M . . .for doing dumb things.
It is true for a few people, but I like to think I earned them. I put a ton of effort into that forum's YSI thread, ran the metal comp this month, articles, etc., among other things. But yes, I can understand the frustration of others who are deserving but don't get recognized.

But hey, I have more rep than all of the mods except four or five, so... ;)
P.S. My name used to fit...I made it because everyone was making fun of my emoness at the time...But I'm not gonna ask for a name change on my secondary :p

Then the homecoming dance is Saturday night, and I'm not going so I'll sit at home and slit my wrists all by myself. :(
Pfft, homecoming.

I didn't go to my senior prom in high school, and no blood was spilled

I played in concert band, but not marching. I did sports instead, heh.
/large pink pen0r ejaculating
Why do you think you are going to be banned?

Gnarmageddon 09-13-2005 04:09 PM

I <3 all my instruments.

And I wish I could play drums like the guy in Black Dahlia Murder.

Dead Star 09-13-2005 04:10 PM

I would play bass if I knew how to record.

/Late as usual.

Black Dahlia Murder is a cool band. I might go see them next weekend with Between The Buried And Me.

Man, I wish I could choose not to be in marching band. Concert band is a lot of fun, but it's the last 3 terms, and you can't drop out of marching band and then come back in for concert.

They're coming here real soon. I would go see them, but the show is at The Emerson.

Your school/band program sucks a big fat dick :(

Puma 09-13-2005 04:13 PM

I love BTBAM, but I'm not a huge fan of Black Dahlia Murder.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-13-2005 04:13 PM

Ya BTBAM would definetly be a sweet show to go see.

Puma 09-13-2005 04:14 PM

Yeah it does. At my school, marching band was optional if you were in concert band.

I mainly going to see them, although I do like Black Dahlia Murder. I just listen to BTBAM more often.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-13-2005 04:15 PM

Ya you will have to let me know how that one goes.

Yeah. And I don't like the assistant director at all.

What did you play, Jom?

I'm guessing it will be pretty insane. I'll probably have to hang away from the pit area if it gets too crazy.

Yeah. I was never in marching band. It's kinda what all the extreme band nerds did, so I avoided it at all costs.

I love crazy mosh pits

Mute Print 09-13-2005 04:25 PM
I love crazy mosh pits
Haha, it all depends. If the pit is too crazy, I tend to get out. Since I go to shows alone, I don't have anyone to really watch out for me, although for the most part everyone looks out for each other. I'm also pretty small... :(

DepthsOfDreams555 09-13-2005 04:28 PM

Haha ya I'm not the biggest kid either I'm kind of tall but I don't have much fat so if a pit would get too crazy I would get out especially if there were some pretty large guys around me. I never go to shows alone though, mainly because I have to drive like 2 hours to see one.

Mute Print 09-13-2005 04:32 PM

Yeah, I'm only 5'6" or 5'7", and about 120 pounds at best, so I tend to get bashed around even in pits that aren't very crazy. And, I don't actually go to shows alone, but my dad stands back at the bar while I go up front. None of my friedns are into my music, so I never have anyone with me.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-13-2005 04:35 PM

I don't have a lot of friends that are into my music but that would suck not to have any most of my close friends don't really have much musical knowledge and think they do but w.e. I got a couple friends that are into music as much as me and they are cool. Ya I am about 5'11" and 135 pounds so I am pretty small too. I get pushed around a lot but it usually doesn't bother me much.

Jom 09-13-2005 04:37 PM

I played trumpet in concert band and was principle chair (wtf bragging on teh intranets?!! Actually, there's no reason to say that, everyone else just sucked), but I could also play French horn and tromboner (omg lol). Just not as well as trumpet, heh. I was good with brass, I guess.

EDIT: Yeah, marching was optional if you were in concert for me as well; as I said, I played sports instead.

At our school, if you did marching band, you were exempt from the required gym course. Pfft, gym courses OWN, though, so it was like, wtf marching band dweebs?

Haha, well you've got me. I don't mind being pushed around, but it's when the guys who are twice my size start throwing elbows and stuff that I get worried.

The best pit I was ever in was probably The Starting Line, it was about 15 or so kids who were my size or a little bigger. It was awesome. Believe it or not, Good Charlotte had a fun pit to because the kids weren't too big...

Ya I like it when I get kids my size, the worst thing ever was at the Hawthorne Heights set at Warped Tour I was in the front and this one like 250+ guy was crowd surfing and he landed right square on my neck(head) that had to be the most pain I had felt in a while and at the Senses Fail set I was right up there too and I kept getting pushed into this kids back who had a back pack on and he had like pins and staples sticking out of his back pack so my stomach was a little bloody.

Mute Print 09-13-2005 04:45 PM

I got knocked over by some girl while she was crowd surfing during Saosin. She hit me in the back, and no one around me caught her.

I got pulled to the ground by a stage diver at Evergreen Terrace when I saw them last month, too. That was also the craziest pit I've ever been in, although I got out pretty quickly.

Puma 09-13-2005 04:47 PM

That Starting Line pit musta been intense huh:p

Mute Print 09-13-2005 04:48 PM

 It was perfect. All the kids were my size, for once. It was really a lot of fun.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-13-2005 04:48 PM

That definetly blows, man Evergreen Terrace that would be sweet, I wasn't in the pit for Saosin they were playin as soon as I got there so I just watched em they were incredible. I'm uploading something for a guy so I'm going to get some food it will upload quicker if im not doing anything.

Excursions 09-13-2005 04:49 PM

I never get to go to good shows. I hear Champion is coming here at the end of the year but I don't really like them.
I'm scared to death to get in a mosh pit.
 Really? They're not bad. Although hardcore shows tend to get really scary. I was pretty scared at Evergreen Terrace. xTo This Dayx (local straightedge band) was really insane too. I stayed far from the pit for that.

Pits at pop-punk shows are awesome though.
