My mom said some study said an F4 would put 18ft of water in the French Quarter, this is an F5. More than a few feet I'd say :-/

Oh it will, and it will stagnate. New Orleans also has a good amount of graves. Some people are predicting that bodies may be pulled from the ground during the hurricane, spreading plenty of diseases.

Im worried about my house. I hope my area isnt effected too badly.

The dead shouldnt be messed with....even if it is by mother nature.

I couldnt imagine seeing the city after all is done. Im sure CNN will have the city in all of it's "Bull**** Filtered Glory" I guess some stuff is better not seen.

Lord Abortion 08-28-2005 07:31 PM

whoa, what about the dead that rise from the grave due to a horrible radiation accident and take over the earth?

the US government will be the death of us all...

bedtime for me I think

RCA 08-28-2005 07:32 PM

Yeah, NO has a fuckload of graves and burial sites.

My area will be getting a lot of wind and rain for the next couple of days.

i am the robots 08-28-2005 07:33 PM

Kingofdudes 08-28-2005 07:33 PM
Hey guys, hows it goin'?

Today was interesting.. I went to this local BBQ for my boyfriends car forum that he belongs to (www.rx7club.com), and it was kinda cool. There was like.. maybe 50 people there, all with their cars to show off, I just followed my boyfriend around the whole time, along with his friends, and they were all talkin cars and stuff and I was like, "what." Yeah. I saw this one guy I haven't seen since I was like 9 or 10, that was kinda interesting. Yeah so basically, it was a card nerd fest.

Pics of stuff:

Only pic of me in there:

To me, cars are something that takes me from point A to point B, and costs me a damn fortune in the process. Never really been much into cars. I would have been more into the BBQ part. Heh.

Edit: So, uh, my Senior year starts tomorrow. How about you guys? (If you still go to school of course) *pathetic attempt at getting this thread moving again*

You certainly have balls doing that around here. On the plus side, it looks well researched from what I read. I always respect MXers who do write-ups for the time and effort put into most of them.

I still have all 3 LPs from them somewhere in my collection, maybe I'll get them back out and rip them :)

EDIT : I remembered, its veggiemite.
Vegemite, the most Aussie thing ever. It's more Aussie than eating Tim Tams from Kylie Minougue's body whilst she's at a BBQ and lying on a Holden ute. Oh, and I have a VB in my hand. NOT FOSTERS, NOBODY IN AUSTRALIA DRINKS IT.

I'm not quite sure what Tim Tams are, but I'd do that anyday ;)

Riva 08-28-2005 08:27 PM

Tim Tams are a chocolate coated chocolate biscuit, with a creamy chocolate layer inside. Their probably Australia's second most famous export. Japanese people buy boxes of the stuff to take back to Japan.

Oh gosh, I love Monty Python. How good is the Hungarian/English dictionary skit.

Not too much.

Sitting on my comfy leather (rolling) chair, and waiting for opportunities to whore my PC.

"Excuse me, this parrot's dead."
"No, actually he's pining for the fields."
"Pining for the fields? He's bleeding dead! Look, you've nailed his feet to the perch!"
---------------------A bit later on---------------
"How about I replace it, sir"
"Alright, do you have another parrot?"
"Er.. no, but I do have a slug"
"Right, can this slug fly and talk?"
"Er, no..."
"Then it's not much of a comparison, is it?"

I don't have a chair for my computer :(

I saw these nice swivel chairs that were pretty cheap at this warehouse place. I think I'm getting one next time I'm by that dealer.

You're missing out of one of life's greatest pleasures. The only thing better than sitting online for hours on end in a comfy leather rolly chair is sitting online for hours in a hottub, if I could get a hottub in the first place then find a way to use a computer whilst in it without ruining it or killing myself.

Ive been saying for years that monty python is beyond comedic genius, and luckily i see a lot of what they were doing in the newer show Little Britain, surprsingly enough. It is refreshing to just see compeltely off the wall sketch comedy again, unlike the trite that passes for sketch comedy nowadays like the last 10 years of Saturday Night Live.

"You said that this was ipswitch, and it is most definitely bolton"
"Thats because its a pun"
"A pun? how is it a pun?"
"No not a pun, what is that thing when something is spelled the same forwards as backwards?"
"A palindrome?"
"Yes thats it!"
"Now look here, the palindrome of bolton is not ipswitch, its notlob"

I go back even earlier than that. I have a zero period. So school for me starts at 6:45

I'm not really into any jam bands, which is funny because I smoke weed.
