kitsch 10-19-2009 05:29 PM

the only record i would consider "awesome" is full collapse.

Firecracker 10-19-2009 05:32 PM

a city by the light divided is awesome. new one good?

witchxrapist 10-19-2009 05:40 PM

I love A City By The Light Divided, a lot of it is just poppy and catchy, but then you have songs like Sugar In The Sacrament, Autumn Leaves Revisited, Arcs Lamps And Signal Flares And A Shower Of Light, and At This Velocity.

Also, War All Of The Time is really catchy, Full Collapse rules, and Waiting is pretty much the best thing they did.

Firecracker 10-19-2009 05:41 PM

counting 5-4-3-2-1 is my fav
just love listening to it in the gym and imagining singing along

cbmartinez 10-19-2009 05:45 PM

wtf that song is terrible

full collapse is also the only record I would consider to be awesome

Firecracker 10-19-2009 05:48 PM

just the sing along aspects that i like about it :)
full collapse is excellent however

you don't listen to music

DeckerDontPlay 10-19-2009 07:06 PM

Full Collapse is without doubt their best. War all the time is alright and the rest is just garbage.

boundbytransience 10-19-2009 07:08 PM

Whoever mentioned "Standing on the Edge of Summer", I checked it out, and it's really good.
I'ma go download that album now.
DIY or not. Who gives a ****.

DeckerDontPlay 10-19-2009 07:17 PM

^Paris in Flames is my favorite off that album. Song rules, hard
cob let's write an r kelly style song called 'don't care bout thursday, don't care bout u'
for starters, we need a cheesy looped beat and an underage girl
the only record i would consider "awesome" is full collapse.

Full Collapse is great and one of the albums that has had the biggest influence on my tastes, Waiting is pretty tight, War All The Time has some aight jamz, ACBTLD is mostly boring, and the new one is pretty good I guess but I don't care enough anymore to try and really get into it.

cobert 10-19-2009 10:12 PM

Listening to Full Collapse now. Autobiography of a Nation still rips as hard as the first time I heard it.

boundbytransience 10-19-2009 10:22 PM

Album rocks so far. Wish I got into Thursday much earlier. I have a feeling I'd love this exponentially more if I were in high school.

kitsch 10-19-2009 10:36 PM

or middle school

TimJim 10-19-2009 10:39 PM

i never liked Thursday tbh

Iluvatar 10-19-2009 11:00 PM

full collapse has grown on me more than pretty much any other PUNX record i can think of ever. autobiography of a nation and paris in flames are just too good

cbmartinez 10-19-2009 11:07 PM

how long is the night? people

cobert 10-19-2009 11:17 PM

i hadn't reached that point in the album yet but yeah that song kicks it

paris in flames is kind of overrated. it's good but not the best on the album.

cbmartinez 10-19-2009 11:25 PM

yeah the spoken word part in the middle ruins it for me

understanding in a car crash is obviously the best thursday song, standing on the edge is probably number 2. other goodies on the album are How Long Is The Night, I Am The Killer and Autobiography

Iluvatar 10-19-2009 11:26 PM

idk the spoken word part is hokey but its pretty necessary, paris in flames, autobiography, understanding and ladies and gentlemen are prolly my favorite thursday tracks

Liebensaft 10-19-2009 11:36 PM

Haven't listened to Thursday in forever, but will now have to soon.

cobert 10-19-2009 11:43 PM

a hole in the world, broskis

a-hole in the world, broskis

cbmartinez 10-19-2009 11:46 PM

pretty good song, the ending is awesome, that acoustic version ruined it for me a bit though

witchxrapist 10-20-2009 12:18 AM

im all about cross out der eyez

cobert 10-20-2009 12:25 AM
pretty good song, the ending is awesome, that acoustic version ruined it for me a bit though
never heard that version, never want to. I knew it existed but I could just tell it would be bad.

This is like my tastes quoted for truth.

witchxrapist 10-20-2009 09:59 PM

Pretty fail, but I finally got the Sed Non Satiata/Aghast split.
