Nepenthe 10-02-2009 12:43 AM

funniest episode of aqua teen ever

Nostalgia 10-02-2009 01:18 AM

yo anthony.

talked to the recruiter today. She told me the air force works different than the navy. I have to pick six backup careers i'd like to do and then if my spec ops doesn't work back i fall back to those. she said in terms of availability, spec is in demand obviously and she also mentioned that people in texas have first grab at regular jobs, haha.

i think im gonna take the asvab though. she told me she was gonna 'text' me tomorrow and talk more about it lol

did you look anything into TACP? it looks interesting

adb 10-02-2009 01:24 AM

sup broz

Apoc 10-02-2009 01:29 AM

handbanana = best episode of aqua teen for sure. only runner up is the dickisode

Nepenthe 10-02-2009 01:34 AM

yeah no matter what youre always going to have to have backup jobs. i mean ive got them too, ive just been pretty much assured by all the recruiters that ill get into spec ops. what do you mean by first grab at regular jobs? it seems like we (texas) are higher priority for everything, probably bc theres like 7 or 8 bases here, a couple of which are some of the most important ones in the states. what me and the other guys going into spec ops ive worked out with had to do to get "accepted" in seems to be alot less than what people in other places have to. the DFW metroplex also seems to be heavily favored specifically, as most areas dont have such extensive workouts and coordination with their trainees.

yeah TACP is another one of the things ive been looking into. it seems awesome, but idk its too closely intertwined with the army for me, id kinda just feel like a grunt, but a little more important. i like the real VIP status that the spec ops guys get, its kinda whats alluring to me. im not sure if TACP is officially on my 'backup jobs' list, but theyve been saying its an option to fall back on should the worst case happen and for some reason i dont get in spec ops.

asvab is nothin, get in there and do it asap. when you know when youre going to be taking it let me know and i can tell you more about what exactly is on it and ****.

rasputin 10-02-2009 01:43 AM

did you **** her

Nostalgia 10-02-2009 01:47 AM

all right sweet, thanks dude.

she was telling me the only places i can go to get offered a job is either seattle or san antonia, tx. What I'm gonna do later tomorrow is just go through the jobs lists\ she gave me and pick out 6 that I like. she told me she's seen a lot of guys wash out during the PAST spec ops and i was kinda surprised considering it doesnt seem that rigorous tbh

Jaundice 10-02-2009 01:48 AM

i need a job p bad

money is getting desperate

AA-12 10-02-2009 01:52 AM

having a job sucks

Jaundice 10-02-2009 01:53 AM

what happened to i get paid all day every day for doing nothing josh ?

AA-12 10-02-2009 01:56 AM

i still do that, but the guy is a total spatula and i want to stab myself sometimes

then again he pays too much so i cant hate him that much

Jaundice 10-02-2009 01:58 AM

i'll never understand people that claim to find work satisfying in a way, and enjoy having something to do

work environments make me want to lash out and wreck ****

AA-12 10-02-2009 02:01 AM

yeah. id rather have no obligations and create my day on my own.

yep san antonio is where ill be doing my bmt. and the PAST, from what ive heard its not that anything you do is exceptionally hard, its just that youre sweating from sun up til sun down. like, nah, 65 pushups in a minute isnt hard at all. but after youve been running for 2 hours and just got through doing pullups, situps, and all kinds of other exercises for another 3 hours, theyre quite a bit harder than usual. most people just dont prepare themselves enough endurance-wise, they just make sure they can do everything when theyre fresh rather than when theyre fatigued already.
work environments make me want to lash out and wreck ****
hey thats one reason i want to jump out of planes and kill people. i cannot ****ing stand work environments. only places ive worked are restaurants, but after a few weeks in a place i just begin to hate the sight of every co worker, manager, and customer. ive never been fired, but ive quit every job ive had on the spot in the middle of a shift haha.

Nepenthe 10-02-2009 02:09 AM
it was a self-degrading joke about me not being in good shape
yeah i figured it out right after i posted

AA-12 10-02-2009 02:12 AM

even though i give you **** about the whole military thing, its cool you found something you really want to do. not to get all gay about it, but it's interesting how much you've changed since the fiking thread days. you're wayyyy more focused.
