yeah, but i havent got my loan yet, and its gonna go some months before i get the money... but the price is right, cause i need money for an repaint to Chrome blue(or lake placid blue Metallic..)

Radiobass81 08-21-2004 07:04 AM

You don't need to put the upgrades once you get it, just buy it (since the price is right) and then get the loan for all the upgrades (if you can, that is...)...

JoeDaddio 08-21-2004 07:04 AM
ahy.. it doesnt ship to europe... :upset:
Yeah, if you want to bid on it mail the guy. I'd suggest mailing whoever you're going to buy something from, if it is a big purchase. I pestered the hell out of the guy I bought my G&L from. :)

Is that like somethin you're lookin for?

^^^^ hahahaha! what you say? and what they say?

see!!! i was right, i knew casual seven would be called bass heaven! (no idea about casual eight.... hmmm... casual eight: installing new slap plates?!?)

JoeDaddio 08-21-2004 07:29 AM

I went in there and I was like "Look.. I know this is going to sound super shady, but I just bought this off eBay, and the guy sent it to me locked. It's a black ASAT with a Kahler Tremolo." And they just looked at me. And I was like "Dude... I'm serious." And he looked at me for like 1 minute and said "Hold on." And he went and got some keys and opened it up. Then he looked at the bass, then looked at me, and was like "Nice. We didn't make too many of these." Then he walked out of the room. I wanted to ask him what he meant about them not making many of these, but I already felt like an *** so I just left.

Thats kinda funny.

This thread reminds me of 'whisper down the lane' where one person would whisper something into another persons ear and by the time it reached the end the message would be completly different that what it was when it started. But in this case it's the topic that changes down the lane :p

One reason it's only 450 USD + 23 USD shipping:

On the horn strap pin, the hole is sort of messed up so it slides a little, but I can fix that with wood filler.

:D

Noushi 08-21-2004 11:59 AM

I'm upset. I was watching the E-bay auction for that 1975 J-bass that Joe posted a week ago (or whatever). I thought I had it, because the bid hadn't changed in days. Then, today, some punk bids more than I was willing to. :upset:

This week was really boring. I quit my job, thinking I had tons of stuff that needed doing. Turns out I didn't, and now not only am I bored, I don't have a job. Considering I was getting ~500 a week, that seriously sucks.

Jamie 08-21-2004 12:44 PM

fox, im JEALOUS AS F*CK!!!!

:(

I dunno why but ive never ever bidded on ebay, i only like buying stuff from the buy it now thing. anyone else like that? (its probably because i dont have my own card to order stuff from.)

Anyone from the UK, do they know how old i would have to be to get some kind of card like a debit card where i can use it to order stuff online? (or a company that has the age the youngest, as im 15)

Foxfire 08-21-2004 12:47 PM

^ I prefer to do buy it now, but when you bid you can get some good deals.

The only problem for me is that I don't have a Paypal account, so I can only buy by money order and cashiers check.

BassVirtuoso 08-21-2004 12:53 PM

I'm eating the biggest hamburger in the history of cows.

Go to New Jersey, Go to Mastoris, Get a Mastoris burger, holy god.

Damrod 08-21-2004 01:23 PM

I just canceled the movie project I was working on with a friend. We wanted to enter a local competition with it, but we don't have enough time to get it ready in time... :upset:

Kinda sucks, but I think it's better that way. We're both perfectionists and would not have been happy with the result. We're delaying it, and work on it with more time and realise it sometime in the near future.

Still it sucks... :upset:

dysfnctinalchild 08-21-2004 01:38 PM

ive been trying to work on a movie also, but no one ever wants to do it. and we only have 2-3 more weeks until school starts, and this is a graded project. the video is going to be on the book, "the old man and the sea" too bad no one ever wants to do it.

That's really a shame... we found some folks who were willing to be actors, but the problem is: My friend has to work all next week. We wanted to do it today (sunday), but if anything goes wrong (and something always goes wrong...) we would not have the opportunity to reshoot it at all. And the deadline is in in about 10 days...

Sad it does not work out. But as I said, we will work on it some other time. :)

today at my band practice, the guitarist gave us a serve about how lazy we were (himself included), because we werent going anywhere, and we werent getting better. i thought it was good of him, because we were in a bit of a flat spot. anyway, it has made me get off my arse and learn every song backwards.

500th post. w00t.

also im eating some midnight spaghetti and it is GOOD.
band of the month is gyroscope.

gaslight 08-22-2004 08:43 AM

Man, I am so god**** scared of that happening to me and my girlfriend.

LightRaven 08-22-2004 10:49 PM

I'm so uber pissed...

I'm sitting here looking through listings of THOUSANDS of houses.. trying to help my mom find a new house for us... so I find these two houses, one my mom has already seen and has printed out a thing for it to check it out.. the other is a new listing.. both relatively in the same area.. near a really huge park/forest that runs through NE Philadelphia. Now, I know this neighborhood to be a good neighborhood..

I go and look up the zip codes to get the crime rates and they were really bad. And I'm thinking.. hell.. I live in a good neighborhood and even that came back bad when I looked up my zip code.

We've been so frustrated trying to find a house ASAP and trying to deal with my father possibly having cancer.. and seeing that heather is on her meds again, I got a wild hair up my butt and looked up EVERY SINGLE DAMMED ZIP ZODE FOR THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA...

And guess what? THEY WERE ALLLLLL BAD!

Which means I've been wasting my time looking up demographics.. and have to go on what I know of philadelphia neighborhoods. Bastard internet demograhpics... "Oh look.. its a major city.. IT'S ALL BAD! MUAHAHAHAHA"

Low_End_Communications 08-22-2004 11:04 PM

^Your time sounds as good as my weekend has been LR.

I've worked 14 hours everyday all weekend and I am worn out. That stalker person just said that the radio station was going to open up a slot to play my solo stuff on, so I sent her a big long apology. I'm still miffed, and exhausted.

I have the next three days off, and today (since it's Monday at 1 AM) I am getting my mop (ie HAIR) trimmed. I hate haircuts, but my parents hate my hair longer. So I sacrifice and get it trimmed for my school pictures.

I still haven't talked to that girl that I really really want about how badly I want her...
