They're ok. It's a cool sound they have, though. I enjoy them every once in a while.

I've grown out of Anaal Nathrakh. Used to like them.

I like Phantom but it isn't grindy enough to be godly Pig Destroyer. In context with PD, it's pretty good. It's better if you listen to it without comparing it to their earlier albums.

Pig Destroyer are kinda overrated imo.

They are generally a gateway to grind, at least their newer stuff. That's probably why they are highly raved.

And yeah, Piggy D is a great gateway into grind. [I]Prowler In The Yard[/I] got me into real grind.

I have it. It's good with the best version of the Pig Destroyer song 'Treblinka' that's ever been recorded, but the later things showcase more of each band's talent. I keep it because of my undying hard-on's for both bands.
