3 plus one Ep under the name Shabutie and one live album

I think.

Edit: Oh, and a reissue.
Don't forgot The Delirium Trigger EP.
And is it actually a live album, because I thought it was only available on DVD?

It's a CD/DVD combo.

Hey guys this is a really funny (yet scathing) article on Coheed and Cambria: http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=3619

If you're not familiar with the site then it will probably send you into a seething rage, but I think it's funny as all hell and I still like Co&Ca :)

deathscreamingsheep 03-04-2006 04:34 AM

Wait... wait... someone actually spent time doing that? Oh dear oh dear.

Society Sellout 03-04-2006 09:52 AM

Actually I thought it was quite lame. I'm pretty open minded but the basic underlying reason for C&C sucking is because they are nerds... This coming from a guy who probably spends hours working on these articles that come up on some realitivly unknown internet website... nerd? I think so. Just because he bashes on other nerds doesn't mean he's not one himself.

Kif 03-04-2006 10:10 AM

The String Tribute to Coheed leaked today but I haven't got it. I'm not into the string tributes. I'm just saying it's out there.

Something Awful isn't "relatively unknown" and he actually gets paid to do that. But yeah he knows that music is all subjective and that, but the point is that he can takes sides on whatever band he wants and just make it funny.

TMA 03-04-2006 10:58 PM

I just sent that guy an email about how the whole review is based on the genres that he gives each song and they way Claudio looks and how it has nothing to do with the as actual musicians.

AHAHAHAHAAHA you're a stupid moron! It's a humor/satire website and so is pretty much everything you read on it. All the e-mails he gets from outraged fans are mocked on their forums and sometimes even in subsequent articles by him!

Whoa dude, no need to flip out. He might not have understood what the site was about but there is really no need to jump down his throat about it.

More updates to come!
All the TX shows are like 2 hours away. :( No Austin this time.

Pazz 03-15-2006 06:17 PM

Damn them not coming to Toronto.

Gnarmageddon 03-15-2006 06:23 PM

Indiana = Skipped

Mute Print 03-15-2006 06:23 PM

No Buffalo show either.

Although... that Cleveland show is a Saturday. Maybe I'll see if my parents will let me take a road trip.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 03-15-2006 06:35 PM

They aren't stopping by my city. :(

Society Sellout 03-15-2006 07:46 PM

No Portland OR either... :(

DepthsOfDreams555 03-15-2006 08:13 PM

I was contemplating to go see them but I decided not to. I am happy with my decision.

YDload 03-15-2006 10:20 PM

I might be going to see them in Pittsburgh

They're touring with A7X, who I don't listen to but have no problems with either. Should be fun.

Also, you may remember me posting about the humor site Something Awful doing a scathing "Your Band Sucks" article on them. Well, the newest article has some hate mail from angry Coheed fans featured. Did YOU send hate mail and get yours printed here? Find out!

B 03-15-2006 10:35 PM

Why are people so dumb that they don't realize 95% of what's on there is a joke?

YDload 03-15-2006 10:49 PM
Why are people so dumb that they don't realize 95% of what's on there is a joke?
Because they think it's more fun to point out where a humor writer messed up some facts about a band they really like. Not a good idea really.

I like the articles on bands I like the most, because I "get" more of the humor surrounding their bashing.

Henrik 03-16-2006 08:43 AM

Yay, I'm seeing them this summer then.

cobert 03-17-2006 11:20 AM

Oh, nice to see this thread back.

I havent listened to the new album in a long time.

Fish 03-17-2006 12:00 PM

i still say IKSOSE was the best one, not by much though

DJ Ducksauce 03-17-2006 12:06 PM

SSTB FTW here.

chumpradio 03-17-2006 12:07 PM

I've started to prefer GA.
I really need to listen to SSTB again properly, I've never got re-into it properly since I started to prefer the other albums.

Fish 03-17-2006 01:11 PM

i know what you mean, just recently ive started getting into the tracks Neverender and God Send Conspirator, i never really gave them a proper listen before

DJ Ducksauce 03-19-2006 02:29 PM

Bah, stop advertising!

:smash:

Fish 03-19-2006 05:12 PM

no :)

stop smashing

DJ Ducksauce 03-19-2006 05:20 PM

Haha, not you Dave, some guy was advertising some stuff in a bunch of threads.

Fish 03-19-2006 05:24 PM

haha okay :p
