Wow 08-06-2005 10:40 PM

They're like the mid-west indie influenced emo, except like...... emo influenced indie.

cbmartinez 08-06-2005 10:42 PM

Ash, I miss you. I am sorry if I pissed you off and I would appreciate if you unblocked me.

Wow 08-06-2005 11:15 PM

Awwww baby Chris is all grown up. <3
MCR is on all the time man it sucks so bad. Welcome to the crew.
Hahaha how ****ing stupid is this?

Everyone used to listen to bands they don't like anymore, so why ridicule people who listen to a genre of music. Or the bands even.. especially someone whose username is 'Saturday SUpercade..' total pop-emo. I dig a couple of those bands (SS being one of them).

Stop listening to bands beacause they make you cool. Listen to stuf you actually like and don't be ****ing afraid to come out of the musical closet.

Just sayin'

Saturday Supercade 08-07-2005 06:02 AM

I never said I didn't like Saturday Supercade anymore, in fact I listen to them (and other pop-punk bands) quite a lot. I just hate it that those bands are falsely named emo by the media, and that MTV co-operates in this...

I still love those records I bought from you Chiel! :)

Wow 08-07-2005 06:02 AM

Torn and Dfelon summed up my thoughts on the "crew" perfectly. Grow up. And that's coming from one of the most immature people ever. (Me, don't ban me Dfelon :()

Saturday Supercade 08-07-2005 06:10 AM
I'm really not joking about the user titles. There will be bans. You guys are just trying being elitist when in reality you only think you're some enlighened gurus of emo. You're realy just 14 years old and will probably like hip hop in two years.

I was more inclusion instead of exclusion. You were all once MTV Emo kids. Wouldn't you rather draw people into listening to real emo than excluding them?
ok,ok Ive got my old usertitle back. And I guess you're right. And Im trying to convince other kids that emo is emotional hardcore as hard as I can...BTW im far from 14 :p

Wow 08-07-2005 06:12 AM

Calling it "MTV-EMO" isn't really stating that it's emotional hardcore. It's saying it's emo on MTV, which it is not.

pixiesfanyo 08-07-2005 06:14 AM

Why does it matter?

People are stupid.

Just deal with it.

Most will never get or like true emo.

RCVA 08-07-2005 06:31 AM

DFelon the ANIT-MTV EMO CREW mean we are a crew (open to anyone who wants join) who is anti-mtv not anti-mtv emo. Emo is in there since we wanted a crew and we all (me, Converge#12, and SunnyDay) listened to emo and thought it would be cool to be in an emo crew. I don't think I am an enlightened emo guru, far from it, because I once started off with MTV emo myself (TBS, I never liked MCR I just want to make that clear). Dude don't ban us because we are just saying we are against the MTV bastardization of all music (metal, pop-punk, and hi-hop included).

btw I'm 16 not 14

tornpictures 08-07-2005 07:22 AM

Oh No! Please Don't Ban Me!

whiteminority 08-07-2005 07:34 AM

tornpictures that is not a feeble attempt to ward off a banning if you go back and read the last couple pages you will notice that we are just against mtv. the first three ideas for the user title were MTV get off the air, ANTI-MTV CREW, and XEmoXKidsXAgainstXMtvX.

You think we should change our thing to my idea to avoid more confusion? My idea being the XEmoXKidsXAgainstXMtvX.

whiteminority 08-07-2005 08:20 AM

We could but I think we should wait to see if DFelon understands our logic.

RCVA 08-07-2005 08:25 AM

It can easily be misintepreted.

Berserker! 08-07-2005 08:33 AM

DFelon is an idiot.

I don't think he read what we were talking about before that like you mentioned earlier.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 08-07-2005 09:47 AM

Ya if he read what we were talking about before he would understand.

Luxor 08-07-2005 10:26 AM

I havent heard either but here are some more emotional hardcore bands that are amazing..
Hot Cross
Saetia
Rites of Spring
City of Catepillar
Indian Summer

Luxor 08-07-2005 10:42 AM

I know, and like all of those bands. Except for City Of Catepillar, I haven't heard them. I'm looking for something a little different than those bands, though.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 08-07-2005 10:50 AM

Check out Neil Perry.
