Used666 01-21-2009 09:15 PM

Analog with an easily available schematic.....yup

The Transporter 01-21-2009 09:20 PM

what's one that makes weird noises that you can do

oary77 01-22-2009 06:04 AM

Used...Possible trades for said Jackson? Have a Michael Kelly patriot hot rod and Epi DR212 acoustic 12 I might be getting rid of in near future. also have a digitech RP350.

Used666 01-22-2009 11:20 AM

Not really looking for trades atm

The Transporter 01-22-2009 11:32 AM

qqron give me an idea of what you'd be willing to make for a trade on the wha-hammy

Used666 01-22-2009 11:46 AM

Truthfully speaking I can't tell if you'd ever make a serious deal....

The Transporter 01-22-2009 01:23 PM

nah, i'm seriously looking to get rid of it. the only thing i really need is a tuner pedal and maybe a good wireless setup. on the other hand there are things i want, like a line 6 fm4 to make weird noises. (think the fall of troy)

that being said, i have a peavey jsx which covers both the distortion/overdrive and noise gate. as for the fuzz, couldn't find any info on that pedal or what it sounds like, so it's hard to get an idea. on my line6 toneport i've tried patches with the big muff or the facial fuzz and didn't really like either, so unless it does more than that i don't really see that as something i'd desire. (i could be wrong though)

i'm open for suggestions along those lines...

Used666 01-22-2009 01:31 PM

Ok then.

The fuzz does do a lot more. It's a one off made by Pro Tone Pedals. It has a layout in the style of a zvex fuzz factory so it has a lot of options on tap from smooth light fuzz to full blown fuzz and all the way to velcro type fuzzes. Here's a picture :

You can make this? What other kinds of fuzz pedals can you make?

Used666 01-22-2009 01:53 PM

Most any that you could think of given the transistors are still made/available.

Im going to be making a batch of Coloursound One Knob Fuzzes soon

Giga 01-22-2009 01:54 PM

Wow, that's pretty cool.

The Transporter 01-22-2009 02:08 PM

is the mechafuzz-ge basically a fuzz factory then? i'm just trying to get an idea of what it can do beyond typical fuzz.

Used666 01-22-2009 03:41 PM

Ya basically. It uses the same transistors and a similar layout to that of the fuzz factory but i dunno what other modifications are done to it.

The Transporter 01-22-2009 07:28 PM
wtf is that thing moving around
on the right? yeah i noticed that as well. let me see if i can tell by freeze framing it.

edit: that's the little strap off the camera i was using. at first i thought it was my shoe string, but then i wondered why my shoestring would be flapping around like that.
