Anyone interested in the new cdep of Graf Orlock? It's called Destination Time Tomorrow.

AIRIC 04-16-2007 01:52 PM

Nope. So overrated.

RetiredAt21 04-16-2007 04:12 PM

Graf Orlock is alright. I don't listen to them very often, though.

Elliptical Ion 04-16-2007 10:35 PM

Not a fan.

RetiredAt21 04-19-2007 07:26 PM

I like them, but I can't listen to them too much.

whiteminority 04-20-2007 06:26 AM

It's good damn you people.

Word!

RetiredAt21 04-20-2007 02:24 PM

Good, but not great.

RetiredAt21 05-06-2007 09:10 AM

Whoa, bumpage.

I've been listening to a shitload of Judas, XBRAINIAX, and ACxDC lately.

AIRIC 05-06-2007 02:00 PM

I haven't been listening to much power violence lately. I listened to some Crossed Out this week which is always good, though.

I've been listening to a lot of Ceremony too. Not powerviolence but at least it's "fast hardcore". Sounds like Infest. I'm sure everyone knows them all ready.

RetiredAt21 05-06-2007 06:10 PM

Ceremony is fucking awesome.

AIRIC 05-06-2007 06:13 PM

Yeah they're so amazing. I usually put on Ruined EP because it has more standout tracks but Violence Violence is also awesome.

THIS IS MY WAR

honkybrewster 05-09-2007 01:57 AM

Guyana Punchline? Pink Flamingos anyone?

803 reprezent.

RetiredAt21 05-09-2007 09:49 AM

Guyana Punchline is good, but In/Humanity blows them away. GP can get a little irritating.

honkybrewster 05-09-2007 11:40 AM

Sh'it, I haven't heard any of the side projects. It sucks, I got into punk about a year after all of Chris B's bands had completely broken up.

RetiredAt21 05-09-2007 12:49 PM

That does indeed suck.

honkybrewster 05-09-2007 01:18 PM

He still does the Motley Crue cover band every year. THAT'S PLENTY POWERVIOLENCE FOR ME!

whiteminority 05-10-2007 06:26 AM

Are you kidding me? They both rule but there is no real difference between them besides that VV has more tracks which all slay.

I can't wait to see them in July, they are playing with Blacklisted, Verse, and Down to Nothing.

Times Ten 05-10-2007 04:23 PM

I love Guyana Punch Line.

IgniteYourAvail 05-10-2007 04:28 PM

I want to see Ceremony so bad.

RetiredAt21 05-10-2007 08:04 PM

I just like Guyana Punchline. They get on my nerves after awhile.

AIRIC 05-10-2007 08:10 PM

RetiredAt21 05-10-2007 08:11 PM

We try to keep it mad bro in here. :)

AIRIC 05-10-2007 08:21 PM

Well Ben doesn't respect my opinion and that is wrong of him.

draw thy sword
I just like Guyana Punchline. They get on my nerves after awhile.
Yeah I can see that, cause they have individual tracks that are f'ucking incredible, but then listening to a full cd is like an instant headache.

whiteminority 05-11-2007 06:27 AM

I disagree. I have no beef, because beef is wrong.

Word, agreed completely.

SkaRobotArmy 05-11-2007 02:30 PM

i know f'uck all about powerviolence but where is Eaten Alive from?

RetiredAt21 05-11-2007 03:44 PM

California. Eaten Alive rule.

MattG 05-16-2007 10:04 AM

Power violence is really the only thing I have from the shitty myspace, pig squealing, job for a cowboy, waking the cadaver, deathcore, metalcore, kids. Grind, Thrash, and Death Metal are already way too much.

Power Violence still remains a scene. A very little, underground, diy scene, and I hope it will stay that way. and probably will.

For the guys saying Power Violence takes no talent, no since of skill, you are wrong. Try doing blast beats, right into a fill, mabye double bass, and back into a blast beat. Those drummers are really talented. They write some of the most unique, riffs, lyrics, and you cant go wrong with the high pitched screams.

mabye you should take a look at other styles of music, and branch out to something new insted of being a tight knit piece of total **** that can't stand to see something new happen/keep going.

Its about diy, and having fun. If you are too lazy to promote yourself, book your own tour, press your own records/cds/tapes, then you shouldn't be into music.

MattG 05-16-2007 11:01 AM

Yeah, true. I just read through the first few pages and that is the perception I got from a few of the posts that I read....

MattG 05-16-2007 11:07 AM

for anyone who has never heard these guys. they are my friends band they play pretty metal influenced Power Violence.

RetiredAt21 05-16-2007 02:35 PM

RetiredAt21 05-31-2007 09:24 AM

Could someone please upload Kent Brockman's Crustcoreviolence for me? I would really appreciate it.

RetiredAt21 06-07-2007 05:35 PM

Olho_De_Gato 06-07-2007 08:03 PM
