Anyone interested in the new cdep of Graf Orlock? It's called Destination Time Tomorrow.
Nope. So overrated.
Graf Orlock is alright. I don't listen to them very often, though.
Not a fan.
I like them, but I can't listen to them too much.
It's good damn you people.

Word! |
Good, but not great.
Whoa, bumpage.
I've been listening to a shitload of Judas, XBRAINIAX, and ACxDC lately. |
I haven't been listening to much power violence lately. I listened to some Crossed Out this week which is always good, though.
I've been listening to a lot of Ceremony too. Not powerviolence but at least it's "fast hardcore". Sounds like Infest. I'm sure everyone knows them all ready. |
Ceremony is fucking awesome.
Yeah they're so amazing. I usually put on Ruined EP because it has more standout tracks but Violence Violence is also awesome.
THIS IS MY WAR |
Guyana Punchline? Pink Flamingos anyone?
803 reprezent. |
Guyana Punchline is good, but In/Humanity blows them away. GP can get a little irritating.
Sh'it, I haven't heard any of the side projects. It sucks, I got into punk about a year after all of Chris B's bands had completely broken up.
That does indeed suck.
He still does the Motley Crue cover band every year. THAT'S PLENTY POWERVIOLENCE FOR ME!
Yeah they're so amazing. I usually put on Ruined EP because it has more standout tracks but Violence Violence is also awesome.
THIS IS MY WAR
Are you kidding me? They both rule but there is no real difference between them besides that VV has more tracks which all slay. I can't wait to see them in July, they are playing with Blacklisted, Verse, and Down to Nothing. |
I love Guyana Punch Line.
I want to see Ceremony so bad.
I just like Guyana Punchline. They get on my nerves after awhile.

We try to keep it mad bro in here. :)
Well Ben doesn't respect my opinion and that is wrong of him.
draw thy sword |
I just like Guyana Punchline. They get on my nerves after awhile.
Yeah I can see that, cause they have individual tracks that are f'ucking incredible, but then listening to a full cd is like an instant headache. |
Ruined definintely has better songs.
Whats with the beef always bro
I disagree. I have no beef, because beef is wrong. |

Word, agreed completely. |
i know f'uck all about powerviolence but where is Eaten Alive from?
California. Eaten Alive rule.
Power violence is really the only thing I have from the shitty myspace, pig squealing, job for a cowboy, waking the cadaver, deathcore, metalcore, kids. Grind, Thrash, and Death Metal are already way too much.
Power Violence still remains a scene. A very little, underground, diy scene, and I hope it will stay that way. and probably will. For the guys saying Power Violence takes no talent, no since of skill, you are wrong. Try doing blast beats, right into a fill, mabye double bass, and back into a blast beat. Those drummers are really talented. They write some of the most unique, riffs, lyrics, and you cant go wrong with the high pitched screams. mabye you should take a look at other styles of music, and branch out to something new insted of being a tight knit piece of total **** that can't stand to see something new happen/keep going. Its about diy, and having fun. If you are too lazy to promote yourself, book your own tour, press your own records/cds/tapes, then you shouldn't be into music. |
Yeah, true. I just read through the first few pages and that is the perception I got from a few of the posts that I read....
for anyone who has never heard these guys. they are my friends band they play pretty metal influenced Power Violence.
