Aes, I'll be straight- This is a [b]community[/b] thread. What do you do when you see your friends at the store or something? You don't walk up to them with a story, you greet them and say what's up- Then you start talking to whoever you're talking to about something more meaty. Why should the lod behave any differently? Greetings are an important part of any casual banter.

Thanks tbf, but we should realize why aes being cautious, both sides have points. I think if things are just let be as they are now, there really should be no spam issues in here. Has anything in the thread besides the issues from the banning caused any negativity?

I know full well why the rules here should be somewhat tight- But people will post 'sup' in any thread in any part of the forum and get away with it, why not in here, the closest thing to a thread that should encourage that sort of posting?

The problems in the past were based off of you guys being idiots and irresponsible- but it's certainly possible to be able to say hi to each other without breaking the precious integrity of a thread in the Guitar forum.
