Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 11:35 AM

I'll look for a link, if I can't find, I'll up an album.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 11:37 AM

Thanks, man. :)

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 11:40 AM

Funny thing is, they're from Japan. A reggae influenced thrash/grind band from Japan. Who'd of thunk it?

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 11:47 AM

There are alot of good bands from Japan.

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 11:50 AM

Wasn't implaying that there aren't. Just thought it strange that a reggae influenced band came from Japan.

One of my all time favorite Screamo bands comes from Japan by the way.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 11:50 AM

Screamo from Japan? Do tell.

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 11:53 AM

1000 Travels of Jawaharlal. They put out a split with Aghast if that means anything (I can upload it if you want).

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:01 PM

Never herad of them. I'll try to find some of their stuff. Ever heard of Ekkaia?

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 12:03 PM

Nope. What are they like?

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:05 PM

Ekkaia are like screamo/crust. Awesome. They sound like a mix between His Hero Is Gone and Neil Perry. So fucking good.

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 12:06 PM

I'm not into Neil Perry as much as I should be. But I'd be interested in hearing Ekkaia.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:13 PM

Dude, have you ever heard Lineage Situation? Neil Perry is amazing. The song "Breathing With One Bad Lung" is one of the best songs ever.

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 12:14 PM

They're talented, yes. But I just can't listen to them extensively.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:17 PM

They have so many songs that I love. Neil Perry is one of my favorite bands.

RouteOne 03-08-2007 12:26 PM

I wish crossed out made longer songs. I get that they are supposed ot be short but I think their potential would be increased if they did more than a minute worth of material.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:35 PM

Crossed out fucking rules.

Elliptical Ion 03-08-2007 12:36 PM

Once I get home today, I'll up that Real Reggae and 1000 Travels of Jawaharlal.

RetiredAt21 03-08-2007 12:37 PM

Sweet.

Real Reggae... man. I was recommended them, and was not impressed at all. This was about a year ago, so I don't really remember it too well... I just remember listening to it once, and canning it. Really don't dig this band.

Elliptical Ion 03-09-2007 01:17 PM

Really? Do you remember the song or album you listened to, perhaps?

Unsure, it was so long ago. It was listen/delete thing. I was not impressed at all.

Elliptical Ion 03-09-2007 01:25 PM

Well, if you're interested, I'm upping the Maze +THC Best album. Maybe you just heard a crappy song.

That stuff is alright.

Aus Rotten 03-12-2007 03:45 PM

If anyone could upload any more Ultimate Warriors (anything other than their S/T) i'd be MUCH MUCH appriciated. I really want to hear their split with Kung-Fu Rick. Elliptical_Ion, i'm looking at you sir, ;)

AIRIC 03-12-2007 04:15 PM

Elliptical Ion is the man.

Times Ten 03-12-2007 04:38 PM

Real Reggae is da bomb.
Ekkaia is da bomb.
Neil Perry is da bomb.

Haha, Elliptical Ion you post on PV. wrrrrd

Elliptical Ion 03-12-2007 09:50 PM

Yeah, I do. And I don't have anything other than The Ultimate Warriors self titled, but I can try to dig up something else from them.

And are any of you into the band 3-Way Cum? I've got Killing The Life and I absolutely love it.

whiteminority 03-12-2007 11:07 PM
