do you use a free service or no? cause i've got limewire and I like to b**** about it cos its so dam slow!
I use Limewire. With Dial up it's real slow, but on Broadband it goes quite fast. Luckily I have broadband. :)

nag*with*a*gun 06-04-2006 05:19 PM

yeh i have dial up. if you do more than one flippin song it takes like two hours. so downloading a whole album is out. *cries cos I don't want to spend the money*

Fine i will, J gave me the link, Goign To Pasalacqua, (off smoothed out for people who dont know) but its live the end of last year. which is awesome.

They use the AI drum kit, and Mike has his new bass and everything.

yourstruly 06-04-2006 05:30 PM

that's a ****ing cool thing for them to do. Not many bands keep in touch with their past like that.

DJ Ducksauce 06-04-2006 05:36 PM

That was nice since the video was good quality and you can understand them.

That first one posted with them in 1990, Mike looks so different holy crap.

yourstruly 06-04-2006 05:39 PM

probably just because of the hair.

nag*with*a*gun 06-04-2006 05:49 PM

i like all thier hair better now.
thanks muteprint

thats kind of suspenseful to see if they screw the movie up or not. i think it might be good if they got quentin tarantino to direct it.
Now that would be interesting.

yourstruly 06-04-2006 11:44 PM

who is quentin tarantino?, and why him?

Ross 06-05-2006 02:26 AM
who is quentin tarantino?, and why him?
Tarantino is the director behind:

Kill Bill
Resevoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction

and loads of other (usually great) films. He has a very distict style in his diection, which is very different from your typical mainstream director nowadays.

He also did Hostel, which was crap.

I dont think Tarantino is right for a greenday movie.

I mean, it will be an 18 at least, its the law for him to make it with that rating. Greenday's main audicance no is between 13-18....

Ross 06-05-2006 02:34 AM

Yeah. He's hardly going to be happy with them putting a massive scrambler on the screen every time someone is smoking, or drinking spirits, or getting their boobies out, or showing a clothing label.

MTV, Kerrang, they're all as bad as each other.

And I just realised.. In the first Going To Pasalacqua video, is it just me or does Mike look like Keanu Reeves?

Untitled 06-05-2006 02:41 AM

I cant see a resemberlance, no.

Ross 06-05-2006 02:59 AM

OK, I need glasses.

yourstruly 06-05-2006 03:11 AM

haha, yeah, I don't see anyone there but Mike.

That's what would make it so interesting.

Actually, who's the guy who directed Fight Club? There are some similarities between American Idiot and Fight Club (the whole split personality thingy).

Bad Blood 06-05-2006 09:49 AM

Who would take a Green Day movie seriously?

I know I wouldn't.

Oz Rembrandt 06-05-2006 10:02 AM
*media studies student*
Hostel has nothing to do with Tarintino, it was directed by Eli Roth, and Tarintino slapped his name on it so it'd get attention.

/film fanatic

Fight Club waaaas... David Fincher I think. He's great.

I would not take the film seriousley though.

pgm 06-05-2006 10:42 AM
Who would take a Green Day movie seriously?

I know I wouldn't.
Nah, not really. I hope Green Day doesn't take it too seriously either because it might take some of the fun out of it. Although, I don't want Yellow Submarine either.

nag*with*a*gun 06-05-2006 01:35 PM

I WAS JOKING YOU NERDS.

seriously I think A gd movie w/ quentin would be crap. who directed silence of the lambs? *my favorite movie of all time* that guy could do it.

Oz Rembrandt 06-05-2006 02:16 PM
who directed silence of the lambs? *my favorite movie of all time* that guy could do it.
One of my all time favs too! Directed by Jonathan Demme.

nag*with*a*gun 06-05-2006 02:19 PM

that was a joke again, (no good for AI) there might be a lot of cannabalism. heh heh.

do you know if demme directed red dragon, too?

JODIE FOSTER IS SOOOO HOT!

hello_mr_jones 06-05-2006 02:24 PM

oh god i hope you mean only in that movie. and I see nothing in her... but nvm.

the movie is good because of anthony hopkins.

Get Fighted 06-05-2006 02:28 PM

She is hot, end of.
I watched all 3 Hannibal films the other night at my friend's house  Good stuff

But anyway, on the topic of Green Day. What does everyone think the new album will sound like?

nag*with*a*gun 06-05-2006 02:51 PM

****. ha hah.

maybe we should do a petition for more dookie sounding stuff. just no more "political" media attracting stuff.

Oz Rembrandt 06-05-2006 02:52 PM

Jodie is pretty fine.

Anthoney Hopkins for the win though.

And no, Damme only directed silence. Some obscure guy directed RD, and Hannibal was Alien's own Riddley Scott

nag*with*a*gun 06-05-2006 02:57 PM

red dragon was pretty good, I loved the william blake dragon tatoo, that was pretty intense. I saw 1/2 of hannibal. I saw the movies backwards ( kind of) so I didn't know all the "history" to it. did jodie foster die in hannibal?

chumpradio 06-05-2006 03:00 PM

I'm guessing it will be more like AI than any of their past stuff.
Warning is kind of like the bit inbetween AI and Nimrod in terms of progression. You can tell that their music changed naturally over those years, and I think the next album will just progress further to be like AI, but different.
