in the words of one of pg99's singers: "you can play anything you want, as sloppy as you want, as long as it's good and it has passion" and i think that's true. if you put all your heart into whatever song you're writing or playing, every time you ever play it, then that is the best music you can create. no matter how good or bad it is in a technical or musical sense. if it means something to you, that's all that counts.

all the bullshit that's on tv and the radio now, where the same bands play the same songs written by the same people over and over and over is what has become the death of music.

people say that punk rock is dead but i believe that all of music, as a whole, is slowly dying, because it is becoming less about what matters and more about what makes money.

I think the best music would be Trip-Hop, maybe DJ Shadow/Massive Attack. Second their is rock. Worst music would be rap (well, most of it, at least).
