You do realize he said that nearly a year ago right?

podbassist 06-06-2005 10:07 AM

Limp bizkit and Blink 182

charolastra 06-06-2005 10:31 AM

Finch, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot.

The money spent on their cd's could've gone to better use

Jon 06-06-2005 10:33 AM

Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Shaggy

kentucky fried rat 06-06-2005 10:50 AM

I truely deeply regret having listened to Slipknot, Metallica, Motley Crue, Manowar(bunch of fags),Mudvayne, WASP, Creed, Nickleback, Taking Back Sunday, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, UnEarth, Nirvana, Otep, From Autom to Ashes, The Bled, and various others. I just woke up one morning and realized they were crap compared to the other stuff in my collection. The saddest part of this is that I used to listen to emo and nu-metal, Yuck!!:upset: But at least I've seen the light and refuse to listen to crap any longer!
Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Shaggy
Since when is it cool to dislike Metallica?
They kinda brought attention to other thrash bands, and allthough they're crap now, it doesn't matter.
That's like saying you dislike a dead person because they're not alive (I've used this acronym all day, and will continue to)

Jon 06-06-2005 12:21 PM

Never said it was cool to dislike them.

I got bored of thrash about 6 months ago and thinking about it I really don't know why I liked them.

I mean they have a few decent songs but nothing special...

Creed, Eminem, and Blink 182 all back in the ol' days of middle school. Back when no-one in my school knew what real music was. :upset:

.:Thrasher:. 11-25-2005 09:04 PM

rhcp pman 11-25-2005 09:21 PM
at the drive-in are for ppl who have progressed past bands like linkin park and RHCP. RHCP are like the ultimate mainstream band and ATD-I were against it.
Oh... wait I get it. You have something against mainstream musicians. So I guess Flea is an absolutely crap bassist, even though your average Joe actually likes his lines. I suppose Freddie Mercury is a crap attempt at an opera singer, because he isn't kult enough. Oh and you know what else... Steve Harris is such an amazingly **** bassist because of Iron Maiden's popularity. Oh, don't even get me started on the Beatles.
Be realistic. RHCP has 4 very talented musicians who work very well together. Drop the mainstream hating rubbish. RHCP may be popular; that doesn't automatically make them crap.

GenuineImitation 11-25-2005 10:02 PM

I used to listen to Blink-182, MXPX, Eminem when I was about 12.

6COF6ATG6 11-25-2005 10:24 PM

im gonna go with Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Blink 182, but then again slipknot actually got me into heavier stuff which eventually led to real metal so i dont regret them that much.

Skunky 11-25-2005 10:54 PM

Hootey And The Blowfish :(

The Living Dead 11-26-2005 12:19 AM

I used to listen to Slipknot's IOWA on repeat and think it was the most awsomely hardcore music ever invented.

Prior to that i thought Korn was the most hardcore music ever.
