Can anyone help me out by telling me what guitars, pickups, and amps they use cause I can't find it anywhere.

One guitarist plays an LTD EC400 w/ EMG's
The other a Gibson Les Paul Studio and DC.
Marshall 1960 cabs
Both use JCM2000 DSL heads.

Yeah, I'm no Senses Fail fan, but you nailed it.

I've never even heard of the band until now to be fair.

On their dvd, in one of the home videos they are using mesa dual rec full stacks.

For recording, there was a ton of different ones they were using. All i saw was the marshall that overturned said and some orange krunch amps or something.

Ugh, count yourself lucky. Singer sounds like he performs with things stuck up his nose.

don't get an amp just because a band you like uses it. make an amp thread and tell what kind of sound you'd like to call your own.

I'd agree with withering_rose, to be honest Senses Fail's sound is pretty generic in today's terms. Maybe a JCM 2000 won't be for you? Go try some out for yourself, heck, you may be suited with something alot cheaper, and different....

JCM 2000's are nice amps, but I'd say save for a Triple/Dual Rec if you can, if you're even looking into amps.

Orange amps are ace. Very nice british sound. AMAZING cranked. Priced in the same ballpark of Mesa and other higher end companies. They also make excellent cabs and practice amps, oh and they look fukking awesome.
