Prepared to stand in defense of Sleep Token, though I'm really only 1.5/3 on singles atm, compared to loving pretty much every single that came from TMBTE

Big big week, mostly excited for Kali Uchis, Billy Woods and Maren Morris. Will be checking Sleep Token, Behemoth and Arcade Fire but I don't have high hopes given the singles for each of those

Demon of the Fall
05.05.25
tect NEEDS to hear Sleep Token lol

Demon of the Fall

05.05.25
look everyone is talking about sleep token but there's no way i'm gonna miss the review for an album called "the shit ov god". they had to add the v to make it trve enovgh

Demon of the Fall
05.05.25
I am also an anticipatory for that one aye

On the other hand Arcade Fire will likely just be sad

I’m sure there will be actually good music release this week too, if that’s your thing of course

brickhed
05.05.25
i think we are in dire need of comically terrible albums to balance out the quality music coming out this year

Sniff
05.05.25

AnimalForce1
05.07.25
What a crazy week where Sleep Token isn't the most dreaded new release here

tigersbrokefree
05.07.25
That Behemoth album is gonna be as fun as cleaning up after your dog that just ate a box of Mexican chocolates.

brickhed
05.07.25
you mean a dead dog
the only people who will listen to it is for curiosities sake or to review it, maybe a misguided fan

Comatorium.
05.08.25
And I liked behemoth for a while too.

TheSupernatural
05.08.25
Excited for new Mclusky, had no idea those dudes were still around

Demon of the Fall
05.08.25
they reformed relatively recently, initially just live shows so this release is somewhat of a nice surprise... I will be checking with tempered expectations tho

A couple of tantalising morsels aside, this is definitely a week to let the hate flow through you

granitenotebook
05.08.25
really excited for pinkpantheress, both of the singles were so good

renegadestrings
05.09.25
Let’s get Black Map’s Hex added here. Anything Dredg-adjacent should be noted

brickhed
05.09.25
pretty sure the behemoth album is out today, hope the review is not botched like the arcade fire one

Hawks
05.09.25
Yep it's out. About to give it a jam.

Demon of the Fall
05.09.25
“botched” lol

Hawks
05.09.25
So I'm jamming new Behemoth now and its honestly better than the previous album. Definitely has some good riffage. Idk...it's not terrible lol.

RogueNine
05.09.25
Save us someone with the sleeper releases.

brickhed
05.09.25
so pretty MID as the kids say
yeah honestly i'm not even sure if albums are actually that bad here or if its just mediocre at worst
