Zone were a female Japanese pop rock duo (former four-piece) that formed in 1997. Originally starting out as a dance-based
group, they later adapted to be a pop rock fronted band. Needless to say, the group helped pave the way for various other
female poppy rock groups, including Scandal and Stereopony. Zone originally split in 2005, but temporarily reunited from 2011
through 2013.
