Formally announced in February 2012, Love and Death is the new band of former Korn member Brian Head Welch, who will no longer perform
music under his name only. Originally made up of Welch on guitar and vocals, Michael Valentine on bass and backing vocals, and Dan Johnson on
drums (three musicians who formerly supported him during his solo tours), Youtube auditions were held to add another guitarist. Sixteen year old
(at the time) JR Bareis was added on guitar and backing vocals. Their first EP, Chemicals, was released April 24th, 2012.
