The band Gardenjia was officially born in 2011, with the publication of the first self-produced EP, entitled 'Ievads'.The line up consists of the three founding members, Giuseppe Miglietta (guitars, synths) Raffaele Galasso (vocals, guitars, synths) Antonio Martire (drums, synths) and now also by Ezio Contino (sax).

The site got-djent, a reference point for the new progressive metal scene, elected 'Ievads' as one of the best independent releases of 2011.During december 2012 the first version of 'Epo' was published.But it is still the beginning.
On 23 May 2013 our first album 'Epo' will be re released by Memorial Records. The band has taken the utmost of its own resources in order to offer a job that could open up new ways of understanding the term heavy. 'Epo' is finally the beginning of our artistic dimension. Completely remixed and remastered, and with the addition of two unreleased tracks, Epica and Ascension, for a total of twenty minutes of new music.
