Fanatic Crisis were a popular alternative visual kei band from Japan, active from 1992 until 2005. Originally a gothic metal-
inspired act, the group began experimenting with a more poppy sound by 1996, before morphing into a full-fledged alt/pop rock
band in 1997. Fanatic Crisis reached its peak of popularity in 1998 when they released their tenth single, "Maybe True", and their
second full length album, "One -One for All-", as both reached number 5 on the Oricon charts. Both the single and the album are
the highest-ranking Oricon spots in the group's history. Although the group never achieved that kind of fame again, they are still
one of the most memorable and well known groups to surface from the visual kei flood of the 1990's.
