They then changed their name to Ecliptica. soon they discovered a vocalist, Marcus Granberg, who eventually left the band and was replaced. During this time also Kristofer left the band to who was a guitarist for the band. Thats when Sundqvist and marcus Sundbom. Their sound changed greatly after this the sound was more aggressive then before. This is when they renamed the band to Assailant. In 2005 they released their first demo album.
