Rip Rig and Panic was an underground avant-garde/post-punk band, first formed in 1980. In 1984, the group changed its name to Float Up CP, and released one album under this name in 1985, "Kill Me in the Morning", which was notably a lot more pop-inspired than their material as Rip Rig and Panic. The group then ended up folding all together in 1986.
