Crushing and epic riffs paired brilliantly with impressive gloomy vocals and dark lyrics makes Quiescence a wonderful early 2014 gem.Still relatively new, SHORES OF NULL, featuring members of Zippo and The Orange Man Theory, aims to explore the dark side of music, incorporating elements of gothic, doom, death, and other subgenres. The five members each have their own unique flair that merges perfectly; their music seamlessly folding into their own musical mixture. Already having performed alongside Negura Bunget, Stormlord, and Saturnus, among others, the band has been finding an audience when they perform. They completed 2013 on stage at the Doom Over London Festival. The annual festival also hosted label mates The Wounded Kings in2010. The band will join Primordial for dates in Italy.Recently discussing their addition to the Candlelight roster the Rome-based band notes, “joining the Candlelight family is an incredible milestone for a band like us. When we started this project one year ago we could not have imagined things to become so serious so quickly. Our sound fits perfectly into the Candlelight parameters and we are very thrilled about it. We feel 2014will be a colossal year for us.Quiescence is part of Candlelight's commitment to developing new international talent for North American metal fans (previously known as Candlelight Cult). The album will be available via Itunes and all digital platforms to match its physical European release date.
