LOSTAGE is an alternative/indie rock band from Nara, Japan, consisting of brothers Takahisa (vocals, bass) and Takuto Gomi (guitar), as well as drummer Iwaki Tomokazu. Originally known for their riffy, hard-edged style of alternative rock, the band shifted towards a more melodic, emo-influenced direction after the release of their fifth album 『ECHOES』. LOSTAGE is also noteworthy for their staunch independent attitude: in 2011, they signed to Takahisa's own label Throat Records; and since the release of their 2017 album 『In Dreams』, they have been selling all their new releases directly to fans, forgoing traditional music distribution channels.
