Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a punk cover band formed in 1995 of members of various "new-school" Punk bands around at that time. Strictly playing covers, the band has released five full-length albums, each with a set theme. Among them have been 60s and 70s Pop, "showtunes" and R&B, all covered in a Punk/Pop-Punk style. The band is known for its fundamentally 'fun' nature, never taking themselves (too) seriously.
